| there should be limits
so we are in the final month of our lease (thank God) of our 7th floor (but beautiful view) apartment... and the idiots upstairs have "acquired" exercise equipment (which in itself isn't bad) but instead of putting down the weights gently, they let them DROP...so far they have knocked off 2 clocks and our D-link router off the wall because of this. I am so glad we are getting our own house. ![]() (there's a story behind the name--several months ago, the water was shut off in the building, so these fools decided to "turn on the faucets" and "plug the drain" so that when it did come back on they would "know". Needless to say they did this before they left for work, and when they came home--4 hours after the water was back on, my apartment and 4 others beneath me were flooded out!!)

to be honest, I am surprised they are still living here, since the apartment complex had to reimburse people for their lost goods...for me, it was expensive, since three of the items that lost value were 1 antique secretary from the 1870's and 2 antique buffets (same time period). Renter's insurance did pay for some of the damage, but nothing on the antiques.
