Has anyone used free tp to clean the sinks? I did today & it worked great, my sink was really shinny I'm out of the cleaning stuff & came up with this idea to save $ and use some of my non flavor tp. I gave some mint flavor tps to my cousin.

I searched and found this link to Hubpages 20 Uses of Toothpaste Other Than Brushing Your Teeth you can find more uses on this site. Clean with Toothpaste 1. The plate of your clothes iron. The toothpaste will help clean off the scorched marks or marks made by melted fabric, as well as watermarks and calcium deposits in he grooves. You can rub toothpaste one the bottom of the cold iron, let it sit for a few minutes, and wipe it away; you can heat it up and rub the iron over an old cloth to complete cleaning. 2. Jewelry. Brush your jewelry with an old toothbrush and toothpaste and rinse thoroughly. Make sure that valuable jewelry is professionally cleaned, not with toothpaste. 3. Polish chrome. Rub the toothpaste onto the chrome, rinse, and buff with a soft cloth. 4. Walls. If you have crayon marks on the walls, you can rub toothpaste on the marks and wipe it way with warm water to clean your walls. 5. Shoes. You can use toothpaste to clean shoes, especially white shoes, clogs, and plastic and leather shoes. Toothpaste is a great tool to use to clean the bottom and sides of your sneakers. Rub and rinse with a damp towel. 6. Scratches on leather. You can use toothpaste to remove scratches on leather. Use a dab of toothpaste and a soft cloth to rub it clean, wipe with a damp cloth and the scuffs will disappear. 7. Furniture. You can remove watermarks from your furniture with a little toothpaste. If you play the piano, then you know that your keys can get pretty dirty; you can keep them clean with a little toothpaste and a toothbrush- rub on the toothpaste and then wipe the keys down with a damp cloth. I unfortunately bought a white flat burner electric stovetop that is always getting scorch marks on it. Tp works pretty good, and better than the expensive stuff. I will have to try it on my rings next, thanks!

I haven't tried this yet, but I can tell you free shaving cream works great to clean the sink. I spray a bit down on the edge of the sink, my toddler plays with it, makes a huge mess smearing it around. When she's done having her fun I take a wet rag and clean her up first, then wipe up all the cream. Shines everything up beautifully! |

I just donate my toothpaste & use baking soda for cleaning sinks, etc. The baking soda is dirt-cheap, and I'm helping someone in need with the toothpaste.

I donate, give it to friends/family and sell it. It flew out of my garage sales at .75. I was surprised, doesn't everybody know toothpaste is free ?

FYI ...it's the "paste" that works for the above tips. I don't think a gel type would work as well. I just used it to clean silver earrings this morning! Too funny to see it posted!

plain toothpaste works great on pimples. Smear on and let dry then sleep in it, the anti-bacteria of the toothpaste helps clear up the zits faster. Found this in Seventeen magazine back when it was age appropriate to use it. just do a skin test to make sure its not too strong for you some of the mints burn instead of tingleAlso, use toothpaste to clean up wet and dry erase boards.

I had 3 huge boxes of toothpaste and sold all but 1 tube at my yard/stockpile sale........It is a BIG seller. Just 1 of the many items that helped me rake in $2200 at my sale.

I send it to my husband in Afganastan to pass out. We gave lots to all his friends here before they ever left, and I've sent so much since that he's started giving it away to the Dutch and British soliders! Hehehe! The men who are fighting for our freedom will have nice sparkling purly whites!
