Can someone tell me if a 1-866 number is long distance or toll free? Thanks.

Thanks! DH said it was long distance and I told him it was free. Why else would a company give a local number and a 1-866 number?!? He told me it was an extra line for people to call if their other line was busy.

I gave him the "Duh" look when I told him. He is so not into the new century. My children had to help him get on the computer to check out ebay.
