 I am locked in the basement.!
So I am in the basement trying to fix myself a little coupon area , got my table, a free file cabinet I got on freecycle and organizing my coupons . I hear my ds just woke up from his nap so I go upstairs and find that my dh locked the door from the inside. We have a child proof lock, we have lever handles and I can't get out. THANK GOODNESS I have my cell phone with me as I had to call my sister to Wish her a Happy birthday and wanted to chat. I now have to wait at least 25 min for dh to come back from going to Home Depot and my ds is screaming for me to go get him and I soo have to peee bad,  The little elephant dancing is me of how bad I have to go. I have been waiting already 15 min..Dh is wondering what happend, I"m like  ooooooo you locked it when you came down to tell men you were leaving. He doesn't remember locking it so I guess we will just have to blame this one on Casper the Friendly ghost.sighhhhhhhhhh Men !!  |

OH NO!  Thanks for giving me an idea. We have a desk that isn't being used for anything in our basement and I think that should become my coupon area! So you see, your being locked in the basement turned out to be a good thing for me!

I"m glad he went to home depot cuz he was going to shovel the snow first and then go. IF he was out shoveling he would not have his phone on him and it takes him an hour to shovel we have a long drive way......... Ds probably would of learned how to crawl out of his crib |

I locked my neighbor in our laundry room/basement one day when he was doing laundry. He was in luck though that we had a cheapo latch lock and he found a way to get out.

I just had to come back to check if you'd gotten out yet. If not, I was gonna put the kiddo's in the car and head your way to kick your hubby in the doopah and get you out of there myself! I guess we could just sick my children on him, that would be punishment enough!

If you don't change your lock on the basement door, maybe you should keep a coffee can or a bucket down there in case it happens again. But I'm glad you got out. |
