Those are so cute. I was thinking about getting one also. Does anybody here have a tradition of putting it out every year?

I brought Elf On A Shelf last year when the kids where vistings for the holidays...they really got into looking too see where he had landed every morning while here...dauther forgot to take home with her for this year...kids have already started asking when the elf was going to return....she called saturday and said they were going to Barns and Nobles for a book reading on the Elf on A Shelf....guess she now also has to buy one for her house also...Guess I started something....LOVE IT..

We got ours last year right before Christmas direct from the company that makes them. This year I put "Buddy" our elf up the day after Thanksgiving. The older two kids know what's up but the younger one who is 6 wakes up every morning looking for him. When my nieces were here the didn't quite know what to make of him but one left him a note with what she wanted for Christmas! Amazon also sells them.
