molding playdough>!?!!?

Has anyone ever had playdough mold???? ds just opened a can(previously played with) and there was mold in it!!!

Wow, I have never seen that one before and my kids have played with lots of play dough. I would call and say something because it's kinda gross. That did actually happen to me with a Elmers glue stick. Two of them, I never thought that could happen to glue.

I had a few cans of play-doh that developed a bunch of icky white spots on them which I can only guess were mold so I threw them out.

I've never had it happen to me personally but I would think that because of the moisture that is in play doh to keep it from drying out that it is very well possible for it to become moldy if it were old or left on a shelf fof to long.

I would expect that from new playdoh that hasn't been used but used playdoh strange huh? they have just played with it the day before..makes me wonder! thank goodness Santa is bringing some new playdoh.
And in the past 6 years I have never seen playdoh get moldy LOL
