Click the bar on the top of the pic to enlarge. It's an armadillo up next to the fence. He was moving too quick so I wasn't able to get the best pic.

I'm not sure I spelled it right it just sounded good. My friend use to put beer cans in the armadillos paws that were belly up on the highway. It was pretty funny. Looked like they passed out drinking.

OMG! We have racoons that habitually comethru the cat door, eat food and leave a big mess. We trap them (humanely), relocate them, and new family members find out house. I swear we have an invisible neon sign above our house "FREE CAT/DOG FOOD INSIDE. DOG IS A PUSHOVER, CATS ARE AFRAID." On a side note... we had 2 coons one night coming in, going out, coming in, going out, peeking in/stepping in thru the cat/dog door, running away, coming back et..... this went on for 20 mins.... my DD and I were videotaping their little noses at the cat and dog doors. Then, from out of no where, a bullet shot thru the door, surprising both of us. My DD and I did the "OMG, its coming after us/OMG its a SNake" dance to get away from the "rabid" raccon....only to realize that our cat (brindle, and looking very much like a raccoon herself) was the one to come thru the door. She prob stood outside and thought to herself" Ok, you are going in and I'm right behind you. And, no you're not going in.., and yes you are,.... and no you are not...".til finally.....she made abreak for it We laughed so hard we cried. That coon must have thought he'd landed in Belleview, we were so dilirous with laughter after the cat incident....LOL!

We had a stray cat that adopted us. I'm not a cat person so he stays outside or in the garage if the weather is bad. So far I've been lucky enough to get all his food free with coupons. There are always other strays and critters stealing his food. Mostly Bluejays but I have seen possums and racoons also. The other night was the 1st time I've seen an armadillo in the yard. I usually only see them when they're roadkill.

ugh we have those ugly things all over here they dig up the yard like crazy. I personally think they are ugly animals. I have a story about a possum one night my dog was going crazy outside and i went out to see what was going on and there lay this possum in the front yard and my dog was growling like crazy i said is it dead? DH says no and pokes it with a stick and the thing growled at me i took of running i thought the thing was coming after me, LOL
