| Help me plan DSs birthday party!!-Invitation added!
He's going to be 3. Loves CARS, trucks, animals, dinosaurs....typical boy stuff. I want to do something at the house but want it to be something cute & creative....not the typical cup cake and play outside deal. The problem.....I am uber-UNcreative. Anyone wanna help??

When is his birthday? If it's still warm outside why don't you get little kiddie pools and have a "Pool" party. We did that for my daughter and all the children loved it.

| Birthday Party Ideas - Kids birthday party ideas shared by parents around the world to help you plan a kids birthday party. Look under kids and then all the themes will show up. This is a wonderful site~! I used it to help plan my son's bug birthday party.

-let the kids build a house from cardboard and then paint (DH can help with this) -decorate tool boxes, fill with tools.....instant favors! -aprons from Home Depot with names in puffy paint -hard hats for everyone to wear -upon arrival kids can "Detail a Truck" (coloring sheets) and then go to the "Construction Truck Playzone"...an area marked off with orange cones and yellow/black crep paper where they can play with dump trucks, blocks, etc. -instead of cake...cut up brownies placed in the back of a dump truck YAY!! Thanks guys!

Invites are great! I do not have kids but I have seen that party site before and thought it was great. Sounds like you are planning a great theme party.

| I got the wording from the above listed web site. I changes some of it to suit us, but the springboard for me was there. Other than the wording, the rest of it I did all by myself.

You can get one of the small plastic wheelbarrows - they are usually really cheap and make dirt for dessert. It's chocolate pudding with crushed up oreos on top to look like dirt, then add gummi worms!

| oohhh...I love the wheelbarrow idea! I thought about doing the dirt dessert in a plastic sand bucket, but I like the wheelbarrow idea too!

Invitation looks great. But I can't help but think that 2 hours isn't long enough. You always get one or two that come late and you are having t during lunch time so I am assuming that you will be serviing lunch. With three year olds won't that take a while. Just doesn't seem like enough time to play and open presents.
