| Question about Potty Training???
Hiya Everyone... The DS has been doing very well with the potty training and I am soooo happy, one out of diapers 2 to go....whew. ![]() But I have a question? How do you wipe a kids butt standing up? I have always had him on the changing table or floor and now that he is potty trained, well he stands up after doing his business. Also, do you use Toilet Paper or Huggies Wipes and are those flushable? Sorry if there questions are a bit juvenile, but this is my first experience with this, obviously. Thank you for your help friend!!! ![]() ![]()

I know there are flushable wipes.. kandoo makes some.. I believe cottonelle and a few others make them. I honestly would encourage him to do it himself and you just "check" his work... |

Thank you very much. I have heard of Kandoo but I did not know they were flushable.

Check the infant toddler section.. like where the regular wipes are.. there are several packaged for the potty trainers out there.. Clean Team is another one that is flushable... Just read the packages I know there are more.. But I dont have a potty trainer so I am not sure on all the names.. |

They have wipes and foaming hand cleaner to help start good habits. Kids think the foaming hand cleaner is fun so it is easy to get them to use it.

As an aside about the flushable wipes, they are not so good if you have a septic system. They apparently don't break down as well as they should (eeew!) and can cause problems. Dunno if that is the case with your house, Amidala, but wanted to point it out just in case. With my 2.5 year old, I have been more or less letting her do the work and then taking a swipe at it myself to make sure everything is ok afterwards. PS: Congrats on the potty training. It's great to have fewer diapers to change, isn't it?
