I was doing super doubles this afternoon and had bought 4 of the Glad Tin Candles and used $3.50/1 IP's (the Candles were $3.49/1).
I also had a GET A REFILL FREE IP to use with a candle.

Of course, NONE of my IP's would scan today! I swear the registers "hate" IP's in my store!
ALL of them (8) were full color originals.
The male cashier was unsure about how to enter them manually and called over a manager.
She said you punch in the numbers and as long as it does beep it okay. Oh, then she said to him, we take IP's except no FREE's.
(she did not see my FREE IP cause it was at the bottom of the stack of q's he had to enter).
I watched very carefully as he entered the q's to be prepared for him to tell me he couldn't take it or it would beep. It didn't.

She also stated that in the near future they are seriously considering not taking IP's because of the coupon fraud.

Is this the case at your stores?

I've never ran into this problem, they told me as long as the numbers are on the IP's if they did'nt scan they would key it in for me.
Guess it's different at every store..some stores around here want take it if it does not scan, guess this is gonna be up to the store mgr. at every store as to how he or she wants to take coupons.
Sorry I can't be of more help than that. They really do not have a coupon policy since they never doubled or tripled them before. If they contiune doing so, I look in the near future for them to issue a coupon policy.
