A Lunch Date with my DH

My husband and I have struggled with the problem of finding time for ourselves without our children. He works Mon-Sat and I work every Sat & Sun. Weeknights are always hectic..homework, dinner, baths, etc. Today we are meeting for lunch and I am so thrilled that time with him is still thrilling after almost 7 years!! Take a few minutes today to tell those you love what they mean to you. All we have for sure is today!@

My baby turned "13"

Wow! I can't believe it! My oldest child turned 13 yesterday (he's getting older...not me). He's an awesome guy! Had a great dinner party at home last night for him and invited all our family. Everyone seemed to truly enjoy themselves and there were minimal meltdowns for having 2 kids there under the age of 5! It's back to work today.
