I have written a couple on my myspace page, but nothing has really ever come of them. So, since I am on AFC several times a day, I figure I should try to keep one on here. I know I won't update it more than weekly, but I think I can use it to help track my savings throughout the year.

I am shopping for my family and for the items that we need or will need (like paper products) within the next month or two. We plan to move (hopefully) this year, so I don't want a huge stockpile to cart across the country. I got a few gift cards for Christmas presents, so I have been able to use them to help pay for the necessities. Here is how I have done so far:
