Took a trip to Walgreens on the way to work this morning so that I could cash in on some of the great RR deals they have going this week. (Plus Qs, of course!)

It was slow enough that the checkout lady at the cosmetic counter didn't mind if I split my transaction so I could get 3 packs of the Noxema razors with their RRs.

A couple months ago, I saw a store on our local news about a woman named Karen, in small-town Minnesota who started an animal shelter near her home. It was incredibly touching to see these poor dogs and cats who had been abused or abandoned being given so much love by this woman and her staff.

As I began to coupon, I realized I could help Karen through my couponing. First, I could send her coupons for dog & cat food and supplies. I didn't know how they were getting everything...

Quickie trip on my lunch hour to Rainbow today, because I've been out of yogurt at work for like a week now. And it's Wednesday, double coupon day, so not a bad time to stop by!

Had a short list today:
32oz organic yogurt for me
32oz light yogurt for DGF

Quickly scoped out a few of the sales + Qs so I could be sure to double 5 Qs while I was there.

Three trips to Rainbow today!! Stopped by on my lunch hour (worked that day) and got super-excited about the double-double coupon day. Meaning they were doubling 10 coupons up to $1 each, instead of the usual 5.

Spent a pretty darn lot of time at the stores... Once at lunch, then hit that store again after work, and then hit the Rainbow close to my house as I went home. Darling GF was texting me "Are you ever coming home?"

I can't wait til we live near a different Target... The store we live by is so busy all the time, kinda ghetto, and just... chaos. There are always children screaming everywhere and running around. People on their phones who don't notice you're trying to get through the aisle. My trip was looong. Partly due to the people I had to navigate around, and partly because I was hungry and slow!
