We got a new fridge...for free!!

I wish the circumstances were better...but when life hands you lemons you gotta make some lemonade, ya know? My Granny is going into assisted living this weekend because her dementia is progressing to where she can't take care of herself. My mom and her sibs are readying her house to sell. The side-by-side she got a couple years ago gobbles up a ton of space in her tiny kitchen so they said if DH could get it out...it was ours...for free.
I have been worried out ours going out for ages to the point where I haven't kept much in it in case it crapped out on us.
So...woohoo for my new fridge, but keep my Granny in your thoughts as I'm sure this transition won't be easy for her.
