I noticed a lot of people typically write their day to day life in blogs, but my life's so dull even I don't want a recap so I'll only mention the fun stuff, like odd instances of cookie jacking (of the edible kind), pineapple love, and my subsequent realization that people at Walmart suffer from a disease, they've got the Walmart Madness!

Couponer's Thought of the Day: Walmart Madness or in Other Words, Why I Hate Shopping There...

You see I hate Walmart, I think...

I have to say, that i havent felt this stressed out about coupons in a while. I have been shopping at TOPS and Wegmans (a local grocery chain) with very minimal walmart grocery shopping in between and its been great. I have been getting gas rewards and then they double coupons (up to 99 cents) and now they have the monopoly game till 7/31 all at tops....

Wegmans is nice because i can get great inseason locally grown produce for cheap and its fresh...and wont rotten in two days like...

So yesterday i made a quick trip to WM for some diaper rash cream. I have to buy several different kinds to keep switching around on her. So went and pick it out went up to the register and she rang it all up and i'm digging around in my purse to realize that I had left my wallet at the house, well was telling her that i was sorry but i would have to go back home and get my wallet and then come back when a lady behind me asked if she could pay for it. I was completely taken aback. I said that appreciated...

I plugged in all my NCP consumer panel stuff tonight charged the scanner up and away I went! I scanned ALL my purchased items and they even ask to to verify price and if you used a coupon!! what a pain for us couponers BUT, I'm willing to try. ...my trip to walmart and then the total from the receipt and we'll see how the rest of the week goes. It states you must send all of your purchases by Saturday night to receive "credit". I am ready and willing to experiment! Has anyone else ever...

Today I went and made a Walmart trip ...
Total 67.57 - w/coupons and sales 46.84!

Not bad but, not great. I could have done better. I'll try harder next time but, I did have to buy some large bulk items today such as laundry detergent and toilet paper etc. So, all and all I did Ok!

I also received my NCP scanner today, YAhooy!
I have set it up and am waiting for it to charge in order to record my first shopping trip, the trip to walmart. We'll see...
