Start Saving Money Today!

I know this blog is for couponing & such, but i just need to get stuff out! I'm a single parent again. Not really because I'm still married, but my hubby is working out of town 6 days a week! We're going on8 weeks! I hate it! I know I'm whining, but was a single parent before I got married! I do not want to do this alone! 5 minutes! That's all I want! Is just 5 minutes to get my self together. My kids are great! I try hard to make it easy on them, but they are not having the best summer! And...

My neighbor & family friend's son was killed 2 weeks ago in a plane crash! It's horrible to think of losing a child! He was SO bright, SO young at 17! My heart aches, my throat closes just thinking of his parents! Richie was my baby nephew's uncle! A loud, funny, fun loving, active guy! He loved his family completely & OUTLOUD! He wasn't afraid to say it. He wasn't afraid to say anything! He was the kind of person you can't help to smile at, and who always played with the kids & dogs!...

Prepared for another week "alone". Did all my shopping today, and I hope to avoid anymore this week. no fun!

My hubby is out of town, again! It's for work, but it's still hard! I feel like a single parent. I guess I should just be thankful. We have $, food, a home, everything we need! But I'm COLD! I NEED my warm hubby! The bad part is this could go till October!?! A weekend here & there?

As my son(8) & I were shopping Publix this afternoon, he starts calling me "Coupon freak". I gave him that "what?" look!! He laughs and says, "well, you are!!" I knew he was just being silly so I let it go. Of course when he starts asking for this & that I smile and tell him we can't buy that. He was confused and asked why? I just shook my coupons at him! He got the picture and started asking if I had a coupon for this thing or that!
