Well here is my first blog post. Im sure most of you around here know me. But for those of you who dont, heres a little intro. I am a Southern Belle according to most people. Virginia born and raised, still live here. I am 23 years old. Been a journalist for about 4 years now. I wrote for an international magazine for awhile. Got a more local job with a magazine here. I love the small town life and love knowing my neighbors. Do not think I could function in the city. I just recently was accepted to Liberty University to study for a Bachelors in Criminal Justice. Plan on using that in the internet crimes field. If any of you have seen the show To Catch a Predator you will know exactly what I am talking about.
I come from a family that never had a lot of money, but tons of love. I have 1 sister who is 18. Mom has been a housewife since I was born. Dad owns his own business in construction which is a little rocky right now but hanging steady for us. We have a bunch of fur people running around here too. 3 rescue birds who keep our ears busy day and night. A favored German Shepherd named Lily. A couple of snobby very picky cats, Little Bit *short for... well you know*, India and China, both Himalayens, and Kasey a shelter kitty from a local mountainous area shelter. We have always been coupon people. Mom used to go to a coupon swap with her friends, so it just kinda rubbed off on me. I have been serious about couponing for about 2 years now.
Looking forward to trying to keep this blog current. Will be sure to post some of my found deals. Yard sale season is coming soon, well atleast I hope it is and those deals will be popping up too.

Hey, I've seen your name here --- good to know other media people are here! I work for a public radio station. Hi back!!! Its nice to see other people in the media. I honestly think that people do not get the job a lot of times. I know a lot of people in radio.
Have heard of Taswell, but never been there. It looks like Liberty is going to be ok for me since its Distance Learning, but I dont think I would like the campus life there.Posted 01-21-2009 at 09:02 AM by Samantha85VA
