It's that time of year again....consignment sales

As a child, I was mortified if my mother bought me ANYTHING from our local consigment store, which was (should say is, it's still there) called The Opp Shop. Even bags with hangers peeking out from Dollar General sent me gagging from the room. I wanted to be cool & wear Guess Jeans & stuff from The Limited....stuff my parents just couldn't afford for my sister & I.

Now as a parent of three and bonus...

I have been asked by many to blog about my stockpiling here at home and even more recently here on AFC when I revealed that my boys were on a business venture due to the financial situation that our family currently finds itself in.

We'll see where this goes. It will be a journey, one filled with trial and error, ups and downs, but through it all, I am sure that God will be by our side, carrying us through when he needs to but holding our hand always.

It seems like everything got so busy with the changes, between the shopping lists and trades and trains and everything at home, the hours of the day are just gone! I recently started babysitting, maybe that's it?!

Well I am definately stoked for free coke 12 pks at Kroger this week, YYYEESSSSSS! I LOVE pop and drink way to much, but free is free right?!

HA! I had to share this experience. Ok So I posted about my last shopping trip. I drove 40 minutes to a town doing doubles and paid oop 62.XX for 144.xx of stuff. I also noted that I bought some candles and ziploc containers that did not double in the manner I thought they should.

I had a coupon for 1.50/2 for the Ziplock and 2 in 1 Glade candles. I THOUGHT it would double to 3.00 off the two of them. It only came up to 2.50 off two because it would only double up to the cost of ONE...
