Well onward from that. We're planning on some lovely home improvment projects around the house with that nice competitors coupon - 50% (single item, up to $25 off). We're finally going to put doors on DS #2 closet. And replace the LAST window in the house that needs to be replaced! I'm excited about that!

Um, lets see. I finally saw Twilight! Oh it was good! I see what all the fuss was about! I liked it quite a bit! I'll be watching it often! :) And that Edward :blush2:

Requested some new reading from the library- so I'm excited to get that in. I really enjoy reading stuff along the whole "supernatural romance". It's my "outlet". It's funny- DH reads nonfiction, history, science. I read fiction, romance and vampires! :rolling: couldn't be more polar opposite!? I told him he should read one of my books- he suggested I read one of his- I can do that, no way he'd get through one of mine!

Well- that's a decent up date I think. Kids are growing like weeds! I'll post a new picture when by buddy gets done playing with them! ;) I'm sure they turned out great!

I woke up early because DS#1 was hollering to get up. I wake up with watery, crusty eye sensitive to light. Nice. So I put on my glasses (which I just don't see was well with) vs my contacts and go and get him. We get up and rolling and I take DS#2 downstairs , turn around to go downstairs and I slip and fall. Nice. So I've got a massive rug burn from my knee (which already has a huge bruise form falling on Friday) to the TOP of my foot (that'll feel great when I put my shoe on). Ok, so I gather myself back up and get DS some breakfast. Time to find out what kind of vision insurance we have. I can't wear my last set of contacts due to infection and I need to get this cleared up. Turns out my insurance will pay for one exam. So I just call my OB/GYN and he calls me in a Rx for pink eye. Yeah for my Dr! Anyway call up my eye Dr and let them know I've got pink eye and I'm starting on a rx today and that I need to make an appt for a contacts exam. First they try telling me that I need to see the eye Dr for the pink eye. Um, I'm a nurse, I know pink eye. I know that just adds more $$ to your pocket to confirm what I already know. Nope. Not to mention you don't have anyone in today to even see me! Just make me an appt for my contacts exam. She gives me 2 weeks from Friday. Um! I can't stand my glasses. I'm able to get moved up to Next Monday. Sucks. DH and I have a "date" Sat. night. Oh well- I can rock glasses sexy! So I get that taken care of. Check on AFC- find that awesome stamp deal , I've wanted one of these for a while. So I suck it up and blow the $5 it costs me. We're tight this week. Can't wait for payday! Then my Mom calls. By this time it's about 9:30. That means 6:30 AM where she's at. WHY?! Turns out my Grandma's biopsy is today vs what I thought was next week. On the phone with her- get rolling on this cake I'm supposed to make for my Aunt's office (I :heart: this Aunt- she rocks, as do all of em really...) anyway. I get a call back from my Mom. Grandma's cancer is "acting up". Hummm, lets decpher that. She's had 2 kinds of cancer for 10 years. She's one of half a dozen people to have that combination in the world. Her labs have shown that she's been doing great! Take a biopsy of her lymph and shows that it's there. Well, yeah. It's been there. We're going to just have to wait for bone marrow results now. It's upsetting. When my Aunt took her to see Grandpa's grave (who passed away one year ago May 1st) she told my Aunt to tell him that she's not ready to hang with him yet. So back off. My family is a riot! So, we're waiting now. Tick Tock. Hopefully we'll have some good news that she's still under control and will be ok to continue on as she has before.

That's my day thus far. It's almost 11 am. Break time yet?

So I make my cake. I've counted and I've JUST enough eggs. I'm getting ready to break the last egg into the bowl for the cake part and I drop it on the floor!! AHH!! So I call my wonderful neighbor- saved egg there! Got the cake in the oven. Have to filling cooling in the fridge- btw it tastes so good!- Get Jackson some lunch and put the baby down. Time to take the cake out of the oven--darn thing sure looks small. Apparently this isn't one of those nice tall cakes I had envisioned. Sucker is about an inch high. Now this is where I don't know what happened with me. I cool that baby off. I've got my nice two layers all ready. I'm SUPPOSED to cut each layer in half again to make 4. I'm doubting I'll do it. But then again I've got this nice fancy little cutter tool...I can do it. Nope apparently not. I cut it crooked and went from the middle of the cake to the bottom about 1/2 way through. Ok. So I won't make 4 layers. I hope it "glues" it's self back together because I'm out of eggs and running out of time. I continue on. I stack er up add the filling do a crumb layer and decide what I can make WITHOUT eggs. No bakes. Ok. I whip those babies up. Get a call back from my OB/GYN the wonderful man has called in a Rx for my eye. Staring at the no bakes. They sure are ugly cookies. Know what fixes ugly cookies. Drizzle icing. So I drizzle some white chocolate on top- viola- fancy! lol

Get a call in. Grandma has lymphoma. Duh. This we knew. So we're back to waiting to find out if it's flared up again or not. For the first time in MONTHS, I have not gone to a CVS on a Sunday. I know. Deep breaths, I'm almost in shock myself!

I'm sitting here drinking one of my *almost* free pops - looking at the stack of inserts I've yet to cut- with a kleenex up my nose (to catch the runny goo) and thinking. "It's ok, I can go tomorrow." :rolling:

My Aunt might be coming over on Friday to kindly sit for us while we go on a dinner/movie double date with some friends of ours. I'm excited to have a night out- but I'll be a ton of work beforehand! I've got to CLEAN! Oh my do I! If she goes into our bedroom- she'd faint! I hope she doesn't look at our baseboards! I'll have to pick up our computer desk as well- it's not even funny the kind of "organization" I've got here. So many things I need to put away- but don't because I don't have any room for it anywhere else. Bills that's been paid but the notice not tossed- random Qs I've found while shopping. Rebates I'm waiting to send out until I open that bag of chips to cut off the UPC. Cooking magazines- because I've got to try and keep it interesting and all sorts of toys that DS manages to leave up here. One day I'll get it all nice and clean and then it'll start all over again! Heck I just noticed I still have a few Christmas cards sitting here!

I've got a great husband who supports my decisions in life. And who stands beside me throughout it all. I'm not going to go into detail here. But he's a great guy. I'm beyond lucky and he's an AMAZING father to boot! He makes me smile everyday and makes me laugh at least twice that much!

I've got great kids! Jackson is crazy smart like his Daddy. And Nick is the kind of baby that makes you smile even when you're flustered.

I sat him on the potty seat after nap today (we're just starting) and gave him a book to read...well he felt the need to stand up walk out of the bathroom (I'd left to check on Nick) and put his book on the floor in the hall and THEN pee on it.
