I have to say, that i havent felt this stressed out about coupons in a while. I have been shopping at TOPS and Wegmans (a local grocery chain) with very minimal walmart grocery shopping in between and its been great. I have been getting gas rewards and then they double coupons (up to 99 cents) and now they have the monopoly game till 7/31 all at tops....
Wegmans is nice because i can get great inseason locally grown produce for cheap and its fresh...and wont rotten in two days like other big business stores produce would (wont name any names..hehe). Wegmans does not stock everything i can find at TOPS but thier store brand is just as good as brand names and i can find just about everything i need there with all about the same prices. OH and did i tell you have the a kids center, so i dont have to hear "can i get this, can i get that, i want this/that"...
its a great shopping trip...and they have samples out in nearly every dept!!!!
Walmart is still the same and probably will always be the same. I really try not o buy groceries there, but it happens and im ok with that. I can say that they do have a decent toys and children clothes (big kids) dept. As far as selection and price they are decent in those areas. I really hope that their image of couponers change in a better view and just not clump us all togther.
I am not an exteme couponer in the issue of buying many muliples of items and having a coupon for everyone...I do shop smart, i do stock up on certain items like shampoo/conditioner/toothpaste/toothbrushes/floss/femine productsbut other than that i stick to what i need. I do usually have alot of coupons for one transaction, but hardly every more than 2 mulitples.
Im hoping to stick to this regime as it has been working out quite well and i am happy about saving and not stressing at the check out lines!!
