Walmart and Overage ... Among other things, NCP also!

Today I went and made a Walmart trip ...
Total 67.57 - w/coupons and sales 46.84!
Not bad but, not great. I could have done better. I'll try harder next time but, I did have to buy some large bulk items today such as laundry detergent and toilet paper etc. So, all and all I did Ok!
I also received my NCP scanner today, YAhooy!
I have set it up and am waiting for it to charge in order to record my first shopping trip, the trip to walmart. We'll see how it goes and I'll report back later. Some may ask why I chose to do this, well - I am currently not working, don't mind saving receipts (or asking others in the house to do so) AND why not earn prizes and other things for things we've already purchased? I don't care who knows how many tampons I've purchased OR how many boxes of food I've bought, personally so... We'll see what happens.
I'm also entering some receipt contests tonight. I'm crossing my fingers to see if I win. It's one in a million but, you never know.
