Old Navy, New Printer

you know the old navy weekly coupon hunt page? i love it; think it's a fun time. i never have luck finding the big value q's, just get the smaller ones. until this past week. i scored a $50 off $100 purchase!!! whoo hooo!!! DH and i went to Old Navy last night to use it and i discover that not only do i have an awesome coupon, all clearance products are an additional 50% off!
i settle in for some MAJOR shopping.
we find a ton of stuff and take it up to the register where the chickie rings it all up, and tries to convince me to get an ON credit card (as if i'd get a credit card) because i'll "save 10% and that's, like, 10 bucks!" i say no thanks and hand her the coupon. which, when scanned says that it's already been claimed. now, i know this is not true. i know i sent one copy to my email, and that is that. i say oh, yes bring the manager into this! the manager proceeds to say "this usually happens when someone buys a fake coupon off of ebay. or when they tried to print more than one copy. you could call 1800OLDNAVY if you want." that's all. just thinly veiled accusations about how i got the coupon
today, called the 1800 number and i'm told that the manager could have called in last night and found out that i did indeed give her a valid coupon (never been used) that just didn't want to ring up for whatever reason. i think i'll go back to that store with my "we're so sorry you got treated like poo" certificate that should be here in 7-10 business days
all that, and we picked up a laser printer last night. there is a wireless brother model on sale at Office Max through saturday. it's gotten great reviews, and after all is said and done, i'll be getting it for $70 off. WHOOT! decided that with all the great IP's i print, i needed to find a more cost-effective way.
