7/6/2010 - First Day at My New Job

Finally! I did not find a traditional job, but I'm now subcontracting (Consulting for Accounting Systems) for two different firms. The first gives me about one hour per week, and the second says they can keep me busy for 20-30 hours per week. It's part-time, the hours are flexible, and I'm thrilled!
I'm very relieved to be finished searching monster.com and careerbuilder.com for hours every day.
I sent the check today for my college classes, which will start next month. I'm taking Intro to Computer Programming, and Website Design. I'm nervous because I'll probably be the oldest person in the class, and I have not taken a college class in years. My husband says, don't worry: "Kids today don't do any homework, so you will be the star of the class!"
