Walmart/Walgreens/Rite Aid

After yet another disappointing trip to my local walmart today, I decided I had had just about enough and called their customer support line. What I was told, that is not very clear on the policy I might add, is that if the sale paper states that you mush purchase $$ worth of whatever to get that sale price than walmart does not honor that ad. Walmart will not match prices after Walgreens register rewards b/c there is no actual savings card.....so I guess my question would be since Rite Aid has an actual reward card that you must have in order to get the UP rewards does that mean Walmart will honor the price after the UP rewards? Has anyone tried this?
