Hey ladies! Here's another late night blog about my past few days.

Let's start with July 4th weekend! I stayed at my sister's house in Orange County (25 miles away) from Sat-Mon. I had the house all to myself because she and her bf went to Las Vegas on Sun. I didn't have to go to a park to see fireworks because she lives near Disneyland where fireworks are visible from her house every single day. During the stay, I was able to play Nintendo WII, which got me super sore! Seriously, I guarantee I would be masculine within a month playing all games that requires non stop movement. Overall, it was a fun weekend without spending extra $$

I think the holiday got me kind of lazy. My desk is full of coupons and my room is just a mess. I'm going back on schedule by next week.

Today (July 7th) I went to Walgreens to burn my RR. Sadly, I won't be able to roll them for the next few weeks so might as well spend it on some necessary items. I got a Dr. Scholl's smooth my sole for my rough, dry heals from wearing flip flops. Also got 1 Aveeno baby cream and 1 organic body lotion that came with a free tote with purchase. I still have a few RR to burn but will save it on Sunday when school supplies goes on sale.

OMG, I can't believe I only went to ONE store today (July 7th). I'm so proud of myself!!! lol

Oh wait, I lied. I forgot about Vons also! I only went there to get the Hefty OneZip Gallon bags which was on sale for $1.25 wyb 4 in 1 transaction. I was suppose to get only those 4 items but I ended up buying 1 EVOO ($5.99) and 3 Pilsbury Cake mixes ($1 ea). Sad thing was Vons only let me use 3 of the same coupons :(

Plans for this month :
Start cooking
Create a new blog
Buy new cookware

Movie Watched :
Hangover (movie info)

Today was a creepy day at Target. 5 minutes towards my shopping, I headed over to the shaving area. There I stood looking at the razors. There were a few shoppers around my parameter but one person caught my attention. This guy who was standing 7 feet away from me was looking at some products. I totally ignored him until I saw him starring at me from the corner of my eyes. He literally starred at me and pretend to be texting on his phone. I would say he stood there for 5 minutes until I finally left the area.

I continued to do my shopping trip and 10 minute goes by until I noticed the same freakin guy was behind me! Okay, kept my cool and didn't become suspicious. I finally had to do a test. I stopped on the card area and he stopped! I proceed to the jewelry area and there he was following me again! I stopped for the 2nd time and HE STOPPED, hiding behind a rack of jewelry. I go again and went to the purse area and there he follows again!!!!!!!! I finally decided to checkout so I can leave the store immediately. Well, this time he did follow but left the store. What a creep!

Movies watched this week:
Coraline (movie info)
Madea Goes to Jail (movie info)
Mike Epps stand up comedy
Australia (movie info)
Night at the Museum : Battle of the Smithsonian (movie info)

I've been following the news lately for Michael Jackson's death. I am still in shock that he died. I know there are a lot of people out there judging him based on his bizarre behavior. It disgust me to hear nasty comments about a dead man. Whatever the case is, he is still the best musician ever lived. It was Michael who influenced hundreds/thousands of people in the music industry today. His legacy will live on...

July 4th is coming and I have no idea what my plans are. One thing I'm positive about is that no money will be spent on fireworks. Firework looks great but not worth the money.

On my previous post, I mentioned about a bad trader here on AFC. This trader has now gone up to 21 negative feedbacks! I hope there are no more victims.

I've also been away from the Auction forum recently and will probably get back into action this week. Hope to see everyone there.

Hope everyone likes my new signature  So far, I have 1 member rep me for it being so helpful lol

Btw, would love to see more comments to see who has been visiting me :tongue2:

And one last thing... I was invited to the 7-11 Ice Coffee campaign 2 days ago! I'm so excited! My last campaign was Clean & Clear.

Thanks for reading and have a good one

But then, more pleasure here means more time spent on the computer and less time cleaning and doing the right things :tongue2:

For the past few weeks I've been dealing with a member that was scamming me. I officially reported her yesterday (6/24/09) to the Mods/Admins and emailed her to the Garnettes List. It looks like she's been doing others wrong too because she current has 7 NEGATIVE feedbacks. I'm so upset how she did other members here on this board because what they lost was way more than mine. Now, I have to be careful who I trade with since this is my second time being taken for granted. I think I have to make up a trading rule :( Sad but for safety concerns I must do so.

Two days ago my BF/fiance/man lol brought me the movie "Up". I never heard or seen the trailer for this movie since I'm not a big television person. The first thing I saw on the main screen was an old man and a boy scout kid. I immediately thought to myself that this movie couldn't be any good! WRONG! This is by far the best movie I've seen. The story is very touching and meaningful. Go see it if you haven't yet.

I've been spending money like usual. Some people say that coupons get you to spending more money. In my case is true :( Shopping addiction gets people to spend more money than usual. I didn't realize it until the other day when my sister gave me my SPENDING ANALYSIS! :eek2: Yeah, she actually analyzed my expense! And guess what? Most of my spending is on my stockpile :( I'm going to call it quits from now on. Or maybe I'll just take it easy.

Well, That's it for now. Hope to write a blog soon again.

It's been really hot here in California and this past week there were 2 earthquakes total. It centered in Hawthorn which is about 15 minutes away from. I actually didn't feel the shaking :confused2: The news said it was 4.7 so it should have been obvious lol The last earthquake I remember is last year around July/August. Now, that one I felt. My house literally shook back and forth. That earthquake centered in Chino Hills which is approximately 30 miles away from me. I think the mag for that one was about 5.4 or so. That one was really strong because it was felt in Los Angeles, San Diego, and some parts of Vegas. Anyway, enough about that! Let's move on to the next topic.

A little re-cap on what I did these last few weeks.

On Mother's day - May 10th, we went to go see some peacocks :) Sounds funny but it was actually a fun adventure. I drove to a neighborhood where all the peacocks hangout. That neighborhood is near the peacock park so that's why those birds where there. The peacocks are allowed to fly around and by dawn, they automatically fly back home (peacock park). It was very exciting because there was a house full of peacocks! They were just chilling right there in the home owner's back and front yard. After that, we went to Portrillo's - Italian Cuisine - and had a small pizza, seafood linguine, and chicken breast primavera. It was delicious and we had leftovers! I had a nice time and was glad to spend my second Mother's day.

A week after Mother's Day on May 17th, we went to the Greek Festival. It was a small one in Orange County on the parking lot of a Greek Church. We mainly went there for their food :tongue2: I love food so I will travel anywhere for great eats. We had beef Gyro, Souvlakia, some pork skewers, and loukomathes which was all YUMMMMY! Too bad I didn't take any pictures of the food because I was already too irritated by the heat. For the first time in history, I finished a can of soda in about 10 minutes lol

This coming memorial weekend will be another week of fun. Check back :)

Today was family day! We headed out to the Farmers Market in Los Angeles ~ corner of 3rd and Fairfax. We got there around 2pm, which was super late because me and DS was sleeping until 10am this morning. Jay was the one who woke us up in our sleep. It was really awesome there. I've been wanting to go since last year and it finally happened! The planning wasn't too good but I'm sure it'll be better next time. We ate seafood gumbo, catfish, ribs, and had some awesome sodas (bubble up and crush). Too bad I wasn't able to get crepes like I wanted =( There's always a next time. Oh yea, I forgot to mention that I got a terrible headache on the way home. To make it worst, my hip area started hurting out of nowhere! It happened right after we finished eating, so it might be due to the sitting position I was in. This type of pain was like a nerve pain. Something like Sciatica. I've never had one before nor do I know how it feels like but I think that's the closest I can describe it since it was not a pain from the muscle or bones. It's scary because I do not want Sciatica at an early age nor do I ever want it. I don't know what triggered it and hopefully is because of a small problem such as muscle ischemia. I know it's nothing major since it just happened all of a sudden. I also don't have any back problems nor am I pregnant. Hopefully, like I said, is due to the ischemia or sitting on the chair for a prolong period of time surfing through AFC. I'm just hoping that this pain will go away tomorrow.

Today was :sunny: and windy. I was so happy to go out today after being stuck at home all day on Thursday because I left DS's car seat in my sister's car. I took a trip to CVS to get on my Pond's deal. Here are the details:

3 - Pond's facial wipes @ 3.99 ea
9 - Schick disposal razors @ .99 ea
1 - Organix Cough drops @ .99 ea
COUPONS USED:
1 - $4 off $20
3 - $1.50/1 Pond's
8 - $1.00/1 Schick
1 - $5 ECB
My OOP was about $1 something due to tax and I got $5 ECB back!

I went to a boutique and got a blue dress. I will post a picture as soon as I get the chance to. Came home late afternoon and posted an auction for a handbag. Hopefully I can get a few bids and apply that to my credit card bill. Dinner was awesome tonight since we (parents and I) got to join up with my sister that lives 30 minutes away from us. We ate late, around 9:30pm, because poor sis had to run some errands. I ended up getting home at 11PM!

I didn't do a lot today but was definitely glad to do something at least. I really want to start blogging everyday because I'm afraid I will forget these events. I don't ever want to forget what happened in my life whether if it's events alone or with someone else. On a second thought, maybe it is better to write in a dairy. I'm not sure right now but life is short and I don't want to look back and say, "I should have done that."

Oh gosh! Today is the end of the month, meaning last day to use most of my coupons and also the last day for CA tax to be at 8.25%. Tomorrow (April 1st~please tell me it's an April fool's joke!) LA's tax will be at a new effective rate of 9.25% and will probably expire on either July 1, 2011, or July 1, 2012. This is really sad because people are losing jobs due to the economy but at the same time there is a decrease in the value of money. Ummm... Do I hear inflation? As bad as it is, I might have to just get as much goods as I can before things become really bad. That's another reason for stockpiling. I'll do this for some time and I will completely stop when I know I have enough. Or will it ever be enough?

To enjoy the last day before things changed, I visited two locations: Target and Walgreens. Yes... Surprisingly, I did visit Walgreens. It was a mere mistake! I got into an :fighting54: altercation with the manager for being so rude to me. I ended up not doing the last transaction and immediately got the DM # from another store down the street. I knew deep down that I disliked Walgreens for a reason. Believe me, it's not the first time this idiot manager treated me with no respect. Now I'm just waiting for a phone call from the District manager.

As angry as I was, Target calmed me down with my super duper savings :save:!! Here's what I got (price is after coupons):

18 - Edge shave gel @ .39 ea
2 - bandaid product @ .77 ea
1 - Gillette body was @ .00 ea
2 - Dove go fresh travel size @ .00 ea plus .26 overage
4 - Baush & Lomb @ .00 ea plus $2.01 overage
1 - Huggies jumbo pack @ 6.99
1 - Huggies jumbo pack @ 4.99
5 - reach toothbrush @ .00 ea plus .03 overage
4 - Gerber grad meals @ .54 ea

I think that was all I got. I'm trying to list it on top of my head. I also got a CRT for $5 off $15 or more on the purchase of Converse shoes.

Another exciting thing that happened was I got accepted as a host to the Juicy Juice House Party!!!!! :cooldance:dancing2::happyblue:dancing2:

This was how I spent my day besides spending time with DS. I also have a new rule to shopping~I must withdraw from shopping for an entire week each month. I picked every 3rd week of the month. This will be a challenge! I hope I can do it :)

OMG! I'm finally on. I didn't do much during the day but made up for it in the evening time. My sister came over today after work and we headed out to Target. We got a lot of items there for a grand total of about $25 bucks and the original price was about $85 before coupons. It would've been lesser if she didn't buy cat food. Her cat food cost about $10 dollars and mine cost about $7. The other $8 was on groceries and supplies. This is what I can list on top of my head:

10 - gillette body wash
2 - Edge shaving cream
4 - Market Pantry chicken noodle soup
1 - hello kitty bandaid
1 - gift bag
5 - 184 ct baby wipes
3 - Archer Farms cookie
16 - cans of sheeba cat food
1 - friskies cat treat
1 - ?? cat item ??

My cousin came over afterwards to "fix" my computer. So now, I have Norton 360!! YAY! Yup, I had spywares on my computer. It's all cleared now =) He also helped me download another browser. I'm gonna have to make a lot of time to play around with my new softwares

It's Sunday and I didn't get any newspaper today. Overcast weather with clouds covering the sky back and forth. Today my sister came over and we went out like usual. We stopped by the mall and got me some VS Pink underwear. I'm a freak for underwear. I only had an hour there since I arrived there an hour before closing time which was 6pm. It use to close at 7pm but since the economy got so bad, everything was cut down! It's actually okay because less time equals less shopping and that's exactly what I need to do. That also reminds me that I haven't been to Target for over a week or two. I need to keep up minimizing my budget. I'm sure I can do it! I just need these stores to stop having deals :D

Besides that, there's been a lot of drama lately here on AFC. I'm pretty sure "someone" will be reading this lol There's been a lot of unnecessary deletion of certain posts and a lot of transfer of some members. I don't really care anymore because at the end it will not affect me. I'm just going to continue my deal hunt and that's it. It's interesting how you learn more information each day. I don't know if that's a good thing or bad thing. Is it better to know or not to know? I'm starting to feel that business people simply do not care and the only people who do are your family and friends. I am truly and honestly glad to come across the people here on AFC. Thanks guys if you are reading =D

It's been a while since I've blogged. I kind of claim down on the whole shopping addiction thing. I still buy things here and there but not worst as before like in Jan where I spent a thousand dollars on nothing! At least this time I got stuff that is still hanging around in my room. I seriously need to make some money back on that thousand dollar I spent. I guess that's the reason for the auctions lately. Auctions = no money! lol

I recently got a new phone also! A Sony Ericsson G900 porfolio can be found HERE and a price estimation can be found HERE. I'm actually very happy obtaining this phone because I've been wanting it for MONTHS! I guess more AUCTIONS for me...

Of all the shopping I've done, I actually used a cash back website for more savings. Yes, I love to shop online due to all the fabulous deals! The one I use that has the most cash back is Mr Rebates! I recently figured out that there was a Paypal options. This sucks because I accidentally let my refund check expired last year. I got so discouraged from online shopping ever since then until I discovered the paypal option. Did I mention that my refund check was about $70? A total waste of $70! Wished that refund checks didn't have the "void after ... days".

I'm full of emotions right now. Who else is there to help when the closest people can't even do that? I'm sick & tired of dealing with my family. The only person I can talk to is my second oldest sis. Being the baby in the family doesn't always mean you get the best! UGHHHH.... In the past year, I've learned to trust no one. It takes one evil person to ruin everything you work for. No body ever apologized for what they did to me. It hurts so much. Everything was taken from me.... everything... I can only rely on myself.

It kinda feels weird now that I don't have to copy & paste. Can you image?!? I must have been copying & pasting for a LOOOOONG time in order to feel like this! The rep I had talked to promise me a replacement only after I send him some info on the wireless package. Long story short I faxed it to him but didn't get a respond or a replacement. Faxed him a second letter (an angry one) and got a response within a week! my keyboard will be arriving in 3 days!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! YAY! I don't have to copy & paste letters anymore!
