Today was a creepy day at Target. 5 minutes towards my shopping, I headed over to the shaving area. There I stood looking at the razors. There were a few shoppers around my parameter but one person caught my attention. This guy who was standing 7 feet away from me was looking at some products. I totally ignored him until I saw him starring at me from the corner of my eyes. He literally starred at me and pretend to be texting on his phone. I would say he stood there for 5 minutes until I finally left the area.
I continued to do my shopping trip and 10 minute goes by until I noticed the same freakin guy was behind me! Okay, kept my cool and didn't become suspicious. I finally had to do a test. I stopped on the card area and he stopped! I proceed to the jewelry area and there he was following me again! I stopped for the 2nd time and HE STOPPED, hiding behind a rack of jewelry. I go again and went to the purse area and there he follows again!!!!!!!! I finally decided to checkout so I can leave the store immediately. Well, this time he did follow but left the store. What a creep!

NO, ladies, do not ever leave the store. Immediately go to the nearest employee have them get the security guard or the manager. Do you really think he was texting or was he taking your picture. I don't mean to sound alarming but a similar thing happened to me on Mothers day at the car wash. I talked to a police officer friend of mine and she said if you feel wierd about how someone is acting such as staring at you, do not leave the public place to go to a employee and find someone in charge. If it does in fact turn out to be the " toy cop" trying to go undercover well he wasn't very inconspicous by staring at you. My friend said that people will be followed to see what their patterns of movement are and to see where they are vulnerable. If someone gives you the creeps, tell someone don't blow it off as nothing. I agree stay calm, but tell someone in the store. You said that he left when you went to the cashier, what would have happened if he was waiting outside of the store for you. Sorry again don't want to sound like a flake but there are dangerous people out there, and they at times are the last person that you would think they would be. I know from experiance. Just tell someone, they have cameras all over the stores. If they see the picture of him and he has a record it is highly likely that that behavior is a violation of his probation and it will put him behind bars again. Sorry just my two centsPosted 07-06-2009 at 12:28 PM by Sunrhyse
