I can't believe it's been over a month since I last blogged. I got too lazy these few weeks

It's been really hot here in California and this past week there were 2 earthquakes total. It centered in Hawthorn which is about 15 minutes away from. I actually didn't feel the shaking The news said it was 4.7 so it should have been obvious The last earthquake I remember is last year around July/August. Now, that one I felt. My house literally shook back and forth. That earthquake centered in Chino Hills which is approximately 30 miles away from me. I think the mag for that one was about 5.4 or so. That one was really strong because it was felt in Los Angeles, San Diego, and some parts of Vegas. Anyway, enough about that! Let's move on to the next topic.

A little re-cap on what I did these last few weeks.

On Mother's day - May 10th, we went to go see some peacocks Sounds funny but it was actually a fun adventure. I drove to a neighborhood where all the peacocks hangout. That neighborhood is near the peacock park so that's why those birds where there. The peacocks are allowed to fly around and by dawn, they automatically fly back home (peacock park). It was very exciting because there was a house full of peacocks! They were just chilling right there in the home owner's back and front yard. After that, we went to Portrillo's - Italian Cuisine - and had a small pizza, seafood linguine, and chicken breast primavera. It was delicious and we had leftovers! I had a nice time and was glad to spend my second Mother's day.

A week after Mother's Day on May 17th, we went to the Greek Festival. It was a small one in Orange County on the parking lot of a Greek Church. We mainly went there for their food I love food so I will travel anywhere for great eats. We had beef Gyro, Souvlakia, some pork skewers, and loukomathes which was all YUMMMMY! Too bad I didn't take any pictures of the food because I was already too irritated by the heat. For the first time in history, I finished a can of soda in about 10 minutes

This coming memorial weekend will be another week of fun. Check back
