another Walgreens trip

Had to go back to Walgreens for more Clorox Toilet Wand refills... there are hardly ever sales/deals on these! And I didn't do the Finish deal yesterday because last time I used the Finish powder tabs they didn't work very well in my dishwasher... I had to use Dishwasher Magic to get my dishwasher back to normal... but then last night I noticed on the Finish q that duh they do make gel kind... I expected them to be sold out already since they are free after q and rr, but they had a bunch! Hopefully I get that lucky with the Glade candles later this week when my qs from the clipper come.
Colorox Toilet Wand refills $2/5.00 - $1 RR = $2 each
Finish gel tabs $3.49 - $2.50 MFQ - $1 RR = $.01 MM

RR Definition
RR = Register Rewards. If you buy certain items in the store - the register will spit out a coupon for money off your next order. I tried to redeem these a few times and got frustrated quickly because there were so many restrictions on them.... such as the total dollar amount of your next order cannot exceed the amount of the RR and the total number of items in your order cannot exceed one. This is especially frustrating when you have a coupon to use that requires you to buy more than one item.

Yep RRs are "Register Rewards" that are coupons that are good on your next purchase. It's true the restrictions take some getting use to. But once you get the hang of it you'll save a lot! The main things to get used to are:
1. that the RRs will not work on tax... so you have to make sure your total before tax is the same or more than the value of the RRs.
2. that you can't use more coupons than the number of items you are buying... so if you're buying 10 items you can only use 10 or less coupons, not 11. RRs count as coupons, but Walgreens in ad coupons don't count.
Here's a link to a thread in the Walgreens 101 subforum of the Walgreens forum that explains more. http://www.afullcup.com/forums/walgr...walgreens.htmlPosted 01-06-2010 at 03:25 PM by funnybottoms
