Kroger question

I live in the DFW area and in the Kroger ad today stated that on this Saturday is Super Coupon day only. Will double coupons from .40 cents to 1.00. But also say 1 like item per transaction. What does this mean? Does this mean that I will only be able to use a 1.00 coupon on my entire transaction. Just wondering if this will be worth my time or not as not a coupon expert, but do like to save money when I can.
