It has been almost two months since DH got let go...he has been out every day. I just don't know where else for him to look. I have friends who suggest that he starts looking out of state, is there any jobs there? We are making it okay, budget is extremely tight. Closed my 401K got almost enough to pay off a few bills, it is the mortgage that I am worried about. The Lord, states to put it in his hands, but his hands have got to be overflowing with all the people out of work.

DH volunteered at a food pantry and that really opened his eyes, he came home and said there are alot of people in our same boat.

We are in the same boat in Chicago, I work construction and have been out of work 2 months, my husband is a cook but recently registered at a catering outsourcing staffing company to also be a waiter. If you knew him you'd actually laugh at that. I've heard that there is a real need for auto mechanics, I don't know if your DH would consider something like that. Good luck, you'll be in my prayers tonight.

    Gotta stay positive!

Same here in West Haven, CT. I say my thanks everyday that my hubby works for the railroad so his job should be safe. Myself, my 3 kids, future daughter in law, 2 neices, and a cousin all lost there jobs within the last 2 months! I just want to send best wishes to you and your family.
