So we are on vacation in Paris, TN this week and I couldn't pass up a trip to Walmart in Kentucky. NO TAX ON FOOD!!!!!!!!

I haven't been shopping much lately because we are really trying to watch our money. No work for DH yet but we are still praying a great job will come our way.

I don't think many of you know that my DH was laid off in January and is still looking for a job. WoW, let me tell you that three months on one income is very tough.

We have really needed to watch our budget and use those coupons. I have done well this week on my $50 budget for food. I made my BIG trip to Kroger yesterday and this is what I got:

3 Betty Crocker cake mix $1.69-$2.00q= .31 overage ea
3 BC icings 1.66ea-.55q(db)1.10= .56 ea
1 Nestle Morsels 3.39...

Well, I had a very quick trip before our Church Easter Egg Hunt.

I preordered the bread from the bakery.

12 mini artisan breads (.84 each)
4 boxes fruit snacks (1.52 each)
4 bag Rice Works (Free Q)

Q's used:
12 $1 bread q (overage with these)
3 Rice works (overage with these )
Didn't need to use the rest of my coupons because of the overage...
