Grocery Coupons & Deal Forums - A Full Cup

I'm rather new to couponing. I started at the end of June when my daughter's friend was telling me how much $$$ her mom was saving using coupons.

I am a 40 something, mother of 3 teen daughters. Married to a wonderful man for 21 years, and a sahm who is getting her degree/certification to work as a medical lab technichian.

I'm still learning the ropes with coupons, but I have to say I am saving a ton of money! Today I wrote up my first stacking scenario for Walgreens, and I couldn't believe my eyes!

I made two runs to Walgreens while carting the kids around from band and track practice. And I have my coupons all lined up to do 4 more runs tomorrow! Just need to add RR to each pile as I buy.

Does anyone else think this coupon stuff is too good to be true??? I almost feel guilty carting all my goodies out of the store for so little cost.

Yesterday the school bus came 5 minutes early and only one of my kids made it on the bus. (I should mention that the bus stop is right in front of our drive way.) There is nothing more embarrassing than having the bus driver honking for your kids right in front of your house when all the other kids that actually had to WALK to their bus stop made it with time to spare.

Not only are our kids always rushing in the morning, they leave a trail of disaster in their wake. Bottles, toothbrushes,...

If you're trying to figure out how to unload some of those $5 RR from last week that can only be used 1 per transaction, here's an idea:

You will have to add a filler to this to use the extra coupon.

ALL Detergent sale $9.99
Coupon for 96 load -2.00
$5 RR last week -5.00

End up with 96 oz bottle of All for $2.99 + cost of small filler item.

What I did was buy All and 2 Act popcorn singles (movie butter!!!) which are 2/$1....

Hubby is at the ballgame tonight, so I've got a little time on my hands. Thought I'd blog on the produce co-op I joined this summer.

I learned about produce co-ops this summer on a local tv show for St. Louis moms, and promoting a website called www.momslikeme.com, which is nationwide.

I am on the IL side and it just so happened that a lady was setting up a co-op on this side of the river. (Not far from that Target I blogged about earlier)

Target is becoming a favorite store of mine. The closest one is 20 minutes away, but the really awesome Target is 45 minutes away. It is brand new and for some reason it is never really busy when I go. The amount of money I save more than makes up for my gas and time. And just as importantly, it allows me to spend the money somewhere other than Walmart. I hate Walmart. But that is a blog for another day. Here's my deals today.
