Meijer Gift Cards

I'm sure all on this site do this, but just in case MAKE SURE YOU ALWAYS GET YOUR COUPONS FROM THE CASHIER or SELF-SCAN!!!
I recieved a coupon for $5 off $50 or more Meijer gift card, which I can buy first & then use my other coupons after I shop. I almost left them behind (too tired I guess), and I'm glad I didn't forget...
I bought about $150 in general merchandise, which might have something to do with how I got the coupon, but I'm not sure... If buying gm items is the key then good luck to those Christman Gift shoppers.
