Okay, I lied. I said I wasn't going to post again until after the weekend. But I just had the BEST lunch ever and thought I would blog about it lol
I had a good size handful of fresh spinach, with about 4 cherry tomatoes, a Melba toast snack (that I broke up on top of the salad), and then I grilled some tilapia (fish) on my George Foreman grill and placed it on top. Then I squeezed lemon juice over the whole thing. OMG, it was so great! I have a yummy green apple to eat as a snack around 2:00PM.

I am going to have a very similar meal for dinner but am going to use either scallaps or shrimp for the meat. Yummy!

Well, I am gearing up for the weekend. I found at last night at my DD's soccer game that I wasn't even filling the injection needle up to the proper place. So, today I gave myself the first shot that actually is correct. She told me that this will help A LOT with my hunger. I hope it helps by tomorrow since we will be on the road all day tomorrow and traveling makes it hard to eat correctly. I will be packing myself a cooler (won't need a very big one ROFLMAO) and taking plenty of water. My DD has a soccer game over 2 hours from home. Then that evening we are going to the SLC ReAL soccer game. My DD is going to be marching in some parade before the game. :woohoo: BUT how in the world am I going to be able to go to a stadium without eating the great food and drinking a beer??? At least I will save myself some money.
Wish me luck.

Also, I am a little sad about something else. I weighted at home on Monday morning to get my starting weight. I have been using that scale as my base of how much I have lost. Well today, just for fun, I went over and used the scale at work. I weight about 7 pounds more at work than I do at home. :( I guess I will just keep weighting at home since I know what my starting weight is there but I was getting all excited at the thought of actually being under 220 (baby steps for me, next goal....200!)

I might not update again until after the weekend since I will be out and about for most of it.

Yeah, okay....I am still hungry sometimes but not as bad as you would expect for only eating about 500 calories a day. I need to try to start spicing up my food though because I have eaten the same thing for EVER meal so far. The only variation is the fruit that i eat with it. Sometimes it is an apple, sometimes strawberries and once a half an orange.
Tonight before my DD's soccer game, I am going to go and buy some shrimp to grill up. Yummy!!

Just wanted to keep you updated (and myself updated). I am off to get water now.

(just as a note, I am doing the HCG diet and you can read about how it works here: http://www.hcgdietinfo.com/Dr-ATW-Si...and-Inches.htm)
I am writing this blog entry so I can use it to look back and HOPEFULLY keep me motivated.
I started my diet on Monday, May 11th. I am going to just be totally honest on here because really this is for me and about me, but my starting weight was 241 (ugh, I can't believe how I have let myself go). I started the HCG diet. I did a lot of research about it and hope it works out for the best.
The first phase of this diet is to start giving yourself the HCG injection and EAT for the first two days. Eat to your hearts content (oh how I loved that part). On the 3rd day (today) I started on a 500 calorie diet. Let me tell you, 500 calories is not very much. I had nothing for breakfast (lots of coffee, tea and water). For lunch I had 100 grams of grilled chicken which I put on a handful of fresh spinage with a couple of cherry tomatoes. I squeezed lemon juice on the top. It really was delicious!! I had an apple when I got home from work because I really was hungry. I also drank lots of water during the day. For dinner I had pretty much the same meal. Yep, I have to admit....I was pretty hungry today. But they say that gets better on the 5th day or so. The HCG is supposed to help curb your appetite. So, I am pretty excited though. I just got on the scale (just curious, you know) and I have lost about 5 pounds! Maybe I am jumping the gun a little and will have gained it back by the time I get up in the morning...but I wanted to weight at night (when I got my starting weight).
Wish me luck and I will try to keep my progress posted.
I need to lose weight because I have gotten pretty sick of myself (I used to be pretty slim and cute) but now I don't want to go anywhere and don't even know why my husband still loves me and how he could POSSIBLY find me attractive. I am going to try to be committed to this FOR ME.
So, here we go....my first night of going to bed hungry lol But I can do this and it WILL get easier!

Then on Sunday I went and did some shopping.
Needless to say, I got very little house cleaning or laundry done. I do hate to start out my week with a messy house. So, last night my DH went to bed around 9pm. I decided to go and put away all the crap that I got from shopping that day (they were just sitting in my kitching waiting to be put downstairs on my "stockpile" shelves). I finished that about 10:30 and felt MUCH better.
I am glad I did that or I don't think I would have found my coffee pot this morning in time to make coffee before work.
We have a soccer game tonight, then might stop at Albertsons on my way home for a few more boxes of free popcorn.

Have a great day!!

I am Michelle and I am 37 years old. I was born in Orange County California but moved to Hyrum, Utah when I was 1. I spent most of my life here and HATED IT. I vowed to move when I had my first chance. Well, my mom and dad divorced when I was 9. They both remarried a year or two later. My dad moved to Wendover Nevada and my mom and new step-dad stayed in my childhood house in Utah. I moved with my dad when I was almost 12. It was very eye opening for me. Long story short, I decided that Hyrum, Utah was not so bad after all. I moved back with my mom when I was 16 and now love living in Utah. I call Cache Valley (the area I live in) my little piece of Heaven! We are surrounded by moutains and it is so beautiful here. The seasons are perfect! Never too extreme but we get a little bit of every season. I couldn't even tell you which season is my favorite because everyone of them is great! I guess I would say that February is my least favorite month because by then the snow is dirty and I am ready for flowers to start coming up.

I have 3 daughters.
Alea: She is 9 and we took legal guardianship of her when she was 2 1/2. We adopted her when she was 4. She has had a hard life and was recently diagnosed as Bi-polar. She is a challenge but has her good days and bad days. I have learned to just be very thankful for the good days lol

Teisia: She is 15. She is a very social girl and people tend to be drawn to her. She is athletic and has played soccer her whole life and is very good at it. I think sports has given her that needed confidence. Sometimes I wonder if she has too much confidence. I always say that she thinks she is "all that and a bag of potato chips". I think she seriosuly thinks she is a Princess and even refers to herself as "princess Teisia". But she really is a joy to be around (for the most part). She can be a little hot head when she wants to though. GRRR. Strong headed little snot lol Oh, she also plays the drums. Lucky me, huh?

Chanel: She is 17. She is my rock in the family. She is a quiet shy girl but has a huge heart and is very caring. She would do anything for you. She really enjoys music and has 4 electric guitars. She drives a little piece of crap car, but she bought it herself and it runs great. She works at Western Watts (which is a phone survey place). She doensn't like her job much, but likes a paycheck so I am proud of her for sticking it out.

My husband is David. He is 41. He is cute as heck...and luck for him he is lol One good thing about him is that we are best friends. I think that is what has kept us together so long and going strong. We both enjoy the same things (camping, football, social with friends, etc). He is a foreman at a local construction company and is very good at what he does.

Me, I'm Michelle. I am pretty new to couponing (in the last year to year and a half) But I am hooked. I love saving money, it is my HIGH. I am also addicated to AFC. The savings listed on this site are so great and the people are so friendlly. I have made some true friends on here.

So, that is it for now. I will type more about me later when I have more time. But that is the short of who ChelleMorty is.

The best thing about tonights game is that the whole family went. Sometimes it is hard for us to get our 17yr old DD to go with the family places. She doesn't have any interest in sports..so I was really impressed she said she would go. Part of me thinks it was because we went to dinner at Iggy's first lol She does love to eat out.
My youngest DD (9 yrs old) did more running around, buying hot chocolate, and candy than watching the game. But as long as she had fun, that is all that matters to me.
I would like to share a few pictures with you also. They are my DH and my 15 yr old DD, my cute 3 DD's and my two oldest DD's. Aren't they cute?

So, anyone that knows me knows that I am psycho soccer mom!! My 15yr old DD has been an avid player since she was 5 years old. She is now on a State Premier team and was on the high school team in the fall. She plays soccer year round (indoor and tourney's out of town during the winter). I LOVE IT. Can I say again that I LOVE IT. I am "one of those moms" that paints up her car and wears t-shirts with my daughters name/number on it. I don't miss a game...EVER.

So, now that I have typed that, I have to tell you that last night we went to our first hockey game. We went and seen Utah State University play BYU (two local college rivals in our area). We live in the town that USU is located so of course we was cheering for USU (Go Aggies!!). The Aggies won and it was an awesome game!! There was a lot of fights and it is weird because I am a pretty laid back person and not into confrontation at all....but I cheered when they were fighting! I don't know what came over me!!

They have another game tonight and we are talking about going. I found that hockey is a lot like soccer. Especially like indoor soccer. I am still trying to get the hang of some of the rules (did you know they can touch the puck with their hands too, AND I don't know if they consider anything a foul?!???).

One other thing, there was college students everywhere. It was great to see them supporting their teams. BUT, there was a group of boys that were way on the other side of the ice from us. I noticed them because they were not wearing their shirts (and it was pretty cold in there). Well, they all lined up against the ice so the BYU team could see them very good. They had letters painted on their chests. It said " P U C K U B Y U " it took me a minute but then I couldn't help but laugh. Some super cute girls in front of us also took some poster signs behind the team that said " Y B U ? " cute play on the BYU name.

Until next time....
