Help! Getting started with couponing and stockpiling
Posted 01-13-2012 at 06:07 PM by brwneyedgirl0823
I am a single mom of four and currently use coupons but I would like to better my use of coupons. I need to get my food and toiletries bills much lower. I live in Winchester VA and have a Martins, Food Lion, Walmart, Target, and CVS store close by.
I want to find somewhere I can read about the deals for the week and what coupons to use. Also how to organize my coupons. It takes too much time to cut every coupon out and put in order.
I feel I am educated but I need to learn more about couponing. Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

Ok first you need to bookmark Iheartcvs dot com, then on here you need to follow the threads for your grocery stores you use food lion and martins, subscribe under the tools tab and follow your VA deals thread, Walmart too. You can also go to sundaycouponpreview dot com. These will give you the heads up of what is coming out and what you can use or what to expect. Also watch for scenarios at cvs and walmart and your grocery stores! I learn so much from this alone, unfortunately it takes time. As for organizing your q's w/ being a busy mum it gets crazy I know but I do it at night or super early before anyone gets up. I do accordian style by category and pull most q's I know I will use in a envie when I am going shopping, the accordian is in a reg. shopping bag you would bring yourself instead of using a plastic bag, they are separated w/ paper clips and post its, frozen, cereal, bev, snacks etc, H&B, household so I am not scrambling to find them when the time comes, and I usually write my list for shopping right on the envie. Alot of people use binders, (I find them to be too much work as a busy mom) some people just date their inserts and put RP, SS, P&G on the front and pull out as needed when they research sales or scenarios. It is how it suits you. If I use one particular coupon alot like Almond milk which I do, I staple them in a safe spot and they stay together easily. If you have a older child have them help you, if you cut the inserts right away, lay out index cards on the table in catergories so as you cut the are put in order right away. If you get 2 or 3 papers, separate and put them in piles, front pages, then next page, and next and so on, and put them together and cut out carefully! and staple or paper clip together. You also should follow the threads on frugal living, like menu's or recipes to help your budge ex: http://www.afullcup.com/forums/fruga...ml#post4511729

Coupons, Grocery Coupons, Extreme Couponing, Printable Coupons, Coupon Database, Coupon Match Ups, Restaurant Coupons, Coupon Codes has the itemized lists of what is on sale on a weekly basis. You will also find if it has a coupon and the total percentage of savings. Extremely helpful.Posted 01-16-2012 at 05:41 PM by Rktheda
