Daycare Woes

I owe my daycare about $250 and I know if I don't pay up they will stop watching my DD soon. I just wish it was easier to catch up once you fall behind. I also wish it was harder to fall to far behind!
My church ladies offered to help but I am reluctant to accept seeing as how they have paid my rent twice this year. It comes from the donation plate but I hate being seen as the church charity case. Yes I know that is what a good church does but I feel so pathetic. They are always so good and kind to me and always want to help.
So far they have paid my rent twice, last year they sponsored me and my DD for Christmas and they sponsored me at my Homeless House. (that's how I met them)
Last July I left my DD's dad and moved in with my sister for a bit. I was going between her and my mom's when we forged a lease to get my DD into school. (bad bad girl I know) but as a "homeless" person I had no residence with which to get her into school and I was desperate. They found out about the ruse and instead of kicking her out they told me about Hillcrest. It's a transitional housing ministry and I applied and got accepted. They put you in a apartment for three months rent free (it's paid for by sponsors), give you a savings account that they keep track of and the whole point is to spend no money except what they tell you and by the time you move out you should have lots of $$ saved up. My sponsors were a church.
So they know my whole story and I keep wishing I could pay them back instead of being a burden! I tithe what I can but it's always only a few dollars I have left over. It never feels like enough.
God knows I am trying I just hope he doesn't care about the amount I tithe.

Daycare is so expensive! I feel your pain. If my children get sick (like today), they won't take them. Do they charge me when my kids are home sick? You bet they do!
I'm in the first 90 days of a new job = no sick days. So I get docked pay, and I'm still paying for daycare as I watch my own sick children! Something is not right about that.
Then I feel like a horrible mother for complaining when I'm lucky to have beautiful children and a job in the first place.
I don't know what kind of work you do, but maybe you could be a DayCare teacher? At the daycare we go to, the teachers can bring their children FOR FREE. I don't think the pay is fantabulous, but at least you're not paying for Day Care.
I wish you the best and I hope things turn around for you soon.
