Note to self: Do not take grandchild on coupon trips because they consume the savings.

I couldn't say no. He had just gotten his report card and he had done very well so I justified spending the money on the mental argument that he deserved it.

My BF is getting so used to my extreme couponing (meaning the OOP is under $3) that he was appalled today when the register rang up $26 (but he had put it all in the cart).

The total before coupons was $106. Wasn't bad, considering it was cat food (our cats will ONLY eat Friskees), milk, cream, butter, stuff that I don't have coupons for right now plus a bunch of stuff I DID have coupons for:
