After 5 day in hospital only dx is Viral infection. Just glad he is home. The girls and me went shopping tonight. After a round at Walmart, CVS, and Krogers they were wore out. I was shopping to replace items lost during Ice Storm 09. Thank goodness I did not lose the big deep freeze.

Power is on! I am so glad to be back home. I was hoping things would settle down now that I am home. However, that was not the case. As soon as we got home my DH started in with the stomach bug, 2 days later still has 103 temp. He was hospitalized tonight for IV antibotics. Please keep him in your prayers as they try to figure out what is wrong.

This is getting old, sorry to complain! We are staying at my mom's with a generator and have most comforts. I am thankful that I still have a house to go to when it does come on. There is no major damage but I am afraid my stockpile in freezor is not going to make it. Oh well, pick up pretty cheap! Will have to start searching for more good deal. I am sorry that my summer harvest is going to be lost. I have learned one thing that I need to do more canning and less freezing of items. Thanks...

Some power has been restored to areas. The boonies (me) will be last to get power. We have secured a generator!!! Yea, lights are on but not many. My extended family are at one house at this time. Things are getting better at this time. FEMA and national guard are here. The roads are drivable since the debris has been cleared. Several power lines are still across roads to and from my house to work. Thanks for the prayers!
