BF Rumors of Sales

I don't know why every year I am so facinated with the suspense leading up to BF but I never ever really shop on BF and definately don't camp out overnight for the doorbusters at some of the HOT locations.


Doing so intel gathering and found:

Best Buy (not from my own personal source will ask him later today)

MISC: DVD's $4.99
Toshiba Laptop: $399 NO REBATES Limit 10 per store
Portable DVD Player $39.99 NO REBATES Limit 10 Per store

Walmart
32" LCD TV for around $900
a laptop for around $400
also starting Nov. 1 Wal-Mart is starting an electronics sale with many of the items from last year's blitz with the same prices

I am so glad to be working at Best Buy (for an outside vendor) now maybe I can get the laptop I have always dreamed about,

Do you get an employee discount as an outside vendor (I'm guess you work for either an inventory company or a merchandising one right?)? B/C otherwise even employees have to wait in line on BF and can't "hold" things. BB employees often don't get any of the deals offered on BF for this reason.

I wish they still had their PA program up and running in more stores. That sounds like a dream come true!

no discount, hopefully someone will let me hold what I want, but I think I have to work that morning, I will just have to get up and in the store before they open. HA, yeah right I barely get up with the kids.
