| My 6/10 Bi-Lo trip! $121 for $20!
I had a great trip yesterday: 4 Budweiser BBQ Sauce - $1.25 each - $1 q = $0.25 each 8 French's Worcheshire - $1.00 each - $0.55 q doubled = FREE (Each bottle had a peelie on them) 2 Smart Balance Cooking Oils - $1.63 - $1q = $0.63 each 2 Smart Balance Spreads - $1.49 - $1q = $0.49 each 2 Keebler Fudge Cookies - $1.79 each - $1/2 = $1.29 each (Could not resist) 2 Sandies Cookies - $2 each - $1q = $1 each Strawberries - $1.69 1/2 & 1/2 - $0.59 8 Soft Scrub Gel - $1.17- B1G1q = $0.59 each (I thought I would get them both free but they took off the price after the Sale, does anyone know if that was correct?) 1 Weight Watchers Ice Cream singles - $1.29 - $0.55q = $0.19 10 Lipton Iced Tea $1.09 - $0.60 doubled = FREE Lysol Toiliet Cleaner - $1.35 - $0.50q doubled = $0.35 each I also used the Walgreens $5/$25 coupon. My total before coupons/discounts was $121 After coupons $20!!!! Funny story. When I was shopping I overheard a father talking to his son about the price of the Tuna. He was like "You need to look at the price, they are not on sale so we dont need to get that kind". It was nice to hear a father teaching his son to shop smart. Then he turned around and saw mw with my coupon binder and his jaw dropped! He grabbed his son and showed him my binder and told him "she will probably save 50% using coupons, thats how you do it!" Of course, I knew that I was going to save way more than 50%!

| Thanks! No, I dont buy coupons. I get between 10-20 papers every Sunday and clip them on my own. A little more work, but FREE since I use CVS ECBs and Walgreens RR's to pay for my papers!

Hmmm...never thought of using my ECB's for papers. That would make spending $10 to $20 on papers a lot easier. My papers are $2 each here. Great job on your shopping trip! |

I'm very impressed. I think I spotted you at Harris Teeter here in Florence,SC during their triples sales. I saw the binder and that's what caught my eye. I have seen some of your other posts and have been amazed at how well you do. I hope to be as good as you one day soon. I have been surprised to see that there are several people from Florence who belong to AFC. I have spread the word about AFC to all.

I didn't know that you could use the $5 off $25 coupon from Walgreen's. Our bi-lo here accepts competitors coupons also. I am going to try and use the $5 off $25 rite aid coupon at my Bi-lo today. Thanks for the tip.

| My Bi-Lo doesn't take competitors coupons. You did a great job! I think that's great that you use your RR and ECB's to purchase the papers. I may have to do that. Thanks for sharing! |
