| Cereal/Milk deal this week
ALright I'm really excited about the Kelloggs/milk deal this week. I'm planning to get 7 so I can get coupons for 3 gallons of milk. My question is... If I get Southern Home milk with these will I get milk tokens towards my free gallon?

You're wanting to buy milk w/ the cereal & be able to get the milk q's at the end of the trans...right? I don't know how that would work!?! Hmmm....

I would think so, because the two promotions are seperate from each other...if so, that's a great deal!

I was wondering the same thing. Also wondered if I can use a $1 off coupon on each box of cereal. I don't shop Bilo much unless they have an awesome deal so I'm not too familiar with their coupon policy. I do know they only dbl up to .60.

Yes you will be able to use a $1Q for each box. Anyone try one of the free milk q's yet? Does it generate a cat for the token? I don't see why it won't, but you never know 'till you try it. I'll be doing it Sunday (so I can pick up a couple more Kellog's q's first). If no one posts before then I'll update then.

I'm thinking it will generate a cat for the Kellogg's b/c Harris Teeter has a similar Kellogg's deal going on and it printed a cat for me. And if you had more than one free milk cat in a transaction it gave them to you spaced out a week apart from each other (the exp dates that is) so you can use them at different times if you like. What kind of token do you get for the Bilo deal? |

you get a cat labeled milk token collect 6 or maybe 7 and you get a free gallon of milk. I'm off to bilo now to find out. I'll report when I get home.

Nice! Thanks for reporting back! I just got back from Publix and while there I found a tearpad for buy any 2 Kellogg's cereals and get free eggs (up to $2 value). So if I buy 7 boxes of cereal, I get 3 free milk and 3 free eggs for $7 if I purchase the b1g1 for $4 and use $1 coupons! Wow! I guess I'm bringing the deviled eggs for Easter dinner this year : ) And if I repeat this scenario I get 3 more free milk and eggs for $7 and get the sixth token for free Bilo milk too if I get Bilo milk. 7 gallons of milk, 6 eggs and 14 boxes of cereal for $14 +tax. Holy cow!!!! I need a bigger pantry! My ad says buy a gallon of Southern Home milk and get a token now thru May 26th. Collect 6 and get a free gallon of Southern Home thru June 9th. |

Hi, I'm new at this so I wanted to get clarification on the egg thing. If I get the coupon at Publix, I don't have to use it at Publix? I went to BiLo last night and bought the cereal and got three coupons for free milk. I also took advantage of some other deals. Anyway, I had my 11 yo son with me and when we got back in the truck, he told me that was the most exciting trip to the grocery store EVER!! :0) |

Well technically the free egg q is a q for eggs not cereal, and the $1/1 kellogs is a cereal discount so IMO yes you can use both. My store didn't give me any issues on it.

I just did this deal tonight. I bought 8 boxes of b1g1 cereal. It was $1.39 a box after the $1 coupon so a little higher than I thought, but still a great deal. I read the coupon for the eggs and it said $2.00 off of any egg purchase. So I figured the best deal was the dozen and a half eggs at $2.23. The manager had to override it because it was over the $2. He did it without a problem though. And then I got the 3 milk cats as well. I'd do it again, but we are up to our ears in cereal... ! We are dying eggs with the kids and I'm making deviled eggs for Easter dinner so this deal was right on time. 8 boxes of cereal: $11.12 6 dozen eggs: .92 3 gallons milk: free total: 12.04+tax |
