yesterday at my bilo hanging in front of the register was a sign we can no longer accept a coupon that will double on a free item . it just made me say hmmm to myself.

Did they happen to mention not doubling coupons that say dont double?? I had a vendor tell me that they were supposed to double them anyway--but they arent--some of them do automatically but not all. I asked and was told that it was against the law for them to dounle those??

On their BOGO (at least at my location), they ring up at 1/2 price so you can get one or multiple. On top of that, I was not limited on the Qs I used for the BOGO items. I asked the manager before I started shopping so this may help to do before getting started (just in case the policy has changed in days - LOL). HTH!

Btw, the cashier was "Inspector Gadget" on the items my mom purchased, checking everything down to the minute detail. Not a problem but I had cashier of the year, so my luck was much better. Thank goodness.

you can a coupon for each item for bogo offers...they ring up 1/2 price so if you don't want to purchase 2...you don't have to. HTH

ok at my store b1g1 rings up half price . this is how i was told if you have 2 qpons for .75 off one will double the second will b face value . havent tried the new method yet to see if they was pullin my leg or not will find out in july maybe

About two months ago I was told that for BOGO you could only use one coupon. I questioned it - asking when the policy changed because I had ALWAYS been able to use two coupons and both double. The manager insisted that it had ALWAYS been their policy. I had them void the items. I called corporate and they said their policy was to allow two coupons for BOGO items since they rang up half price no change had been made. I haven't had a problem at that store since.

FYI: My Bilo posted that they will no longer double Qs on BOGO items whether you buy 1 or 2. So, the cashier was adding my coupon double back into the total. This upset me a bit. I sent an email to the corporate office. Someone got back to me the following morning and gave me his direct number. Very nice! He said this is absolutely inaccurate. Bilo will double Qs on BOGO's as long as it does not exceed the cost of the item (overage). If anyone else has this problem, go to Bilo.com and contact them.

this is not accurate! see my other post. I had this same thing happen, contacted corporate, and was told it will double as long as it does not exceed the cost of the item. the system should recognize this.

Save the BOGO Q. This will not make both items free. You can get 1 item for 1/2 price on a BOGO sale. But for the Q, you must get to items to get one free.

Thanks for this great thread. I was totally told "NO" when I presented the competitor's coupon ($5 off $25 purchase) at my local Bi-Lo. If it had not been for this thread I would have been hurt but since I was aware of the mgr. discretion, I understood.

Still got in on some good deals but having the extra $5 off would have been great. LOL!

My Bi-lo Hixson store #713 is very inconsitant. I used a competitors q in the A.M. no problem. That evening I went back and was denied using the same compet. q??

I've heard 10, but I'm not completely sure about that...I have done 9 before in one transaction, but that was about a year ago.

It is 10...I tested in a few weeks ago w/ the propel water q's (had 12 of them)..ended up having the seperate the order for the last two. The cashier looked at me like I was crazy wanting her to void off two and then ring them seperate...

If they say do not double and begin w/ a 5 barcode then generally they will double automatically (unless a cashier manually puts them in). If they begin w/ a 9 they will not double.

I've seen people question why some coupons are fully doubled and others are not. Unlike other companies, Bi-Lo will NOT allow overage. So once the item is free they cut down the cost of the coupon. Also with regards to coupon doubling even when it says not to double: sometimes they'll double coupons that begin with 5, but they will NEVER double coupons that begin with 9. HTH!

I think it is 10 like coupons for the same item!! I am sure I have used more then 10 coupons per order.
