I would ask....because rite-aid says only for rite-aid and they take them. It never hurts to ask...all they can do is say no...but it's awesome when they say yes

I have a question about the doubling. My store doubles to .60. Does that mean if I have a coupon for $1.00 they will still double up to $.60 making it $1.20 off? Or would the $1.00 q just be taken off as $1.00 only?

Doubling up to $.60 means a $.60 coupon will double to $1.20 off, but any amount over $.60 will be at face value...so a $1.00 coupon will still be a $1. HTH!

Thats awesome! I complained several times and the last time I finally called the DM because I knew him very well and the next day the manager showed up at my door step with a laundry basket full of baby items and groceries!

Yes, we accept internet coupons upon approval of the store manager.
Unfortunately, we have been hit with a number of fraudulent coupon usage
issues, and we have to be very careful regarding redemption.

Regarding competitor coupons. We do accept competitor coupons at
different times of the year, but not, always, chainwide. Yes; it is best
to ask your local BI-LO Store Manager if they are running a correct
promotion involving competitor coupons.

Does anyone know their policy as far as doubling IP's (I know if they begin w/ a 5 they will usually)? Anyway, yesterday I had several q's that the cashier did not scan and I caught it before I left. After they pulled the q's they said that the IP ones would not be doubled...I showed them on the receipt how the one they did scan did double....they went ahead and doubled it but said their new policy is not to double IP's.....anyone know any more about this? My friend was told the same thing at harris teeter yesterday also....

I had coupons I used at the Bilo in Chester, SC. The coupons were for .55. When I looked at my receipt they only added .45. I've had problems with the cashiers not scanning all my coupons too....

I had the same problem yesterday. I bought the Mentos gum for .99. I had 4 coupons for .55. They took off the .55 and then adjusted the double coupon amount to .37. So, for those packs of gum I paid .07 each when they should have been free. No big deal but I thought it was strange!

Bilo Coupon Policy

I know this is redundant, but since what Bilo's corporate office sent me is a little different from the above thread, I thought I'd let you all see it. They sent me this by email. And even though it says Bilo doubles coupons up to .99 in my area, my Bilo only doubles up to .60.


Recently, you requested some coupon redemption information.

A coupon can be doubled up to 99 cents in the Chester area.

Please note; this information is subject to change and is not a published
policy. Please keep in mind, these are general guidelines.

Coupons vary from vendor to vendor and some have more restrictions than
others. It is VERY important to read the fine print on the coupon that is
addressed to the consumer.

Please note there are differences between a Store issued coupon and a
Vendor issued coupon, such as;
A store coupon does not have a mailing address on it, while a vendor
coupon does.
Store coupons do not double, while some vendor coupons do.

BI-LO does not at this time honor or match competitor's coupons chainwide.


Store, Vendor or Internet Coupon Acceptance
Store management has the right to decline any coupon if fraud or coupon
abuse is evident.
Coupons can only be used for the purpose for which it was intended and
have no cash value.
The required product must be purchased.
Correct quantity and/or size must be purchased.
Coupons must be in date.
Coupons must be scanned when a bar code is present.
Mailing address for vendors must be printed on all vendor coupons.
All restrictions contained on the coupon must be adhered to, such as "no
doubling, limit one coupon per item, no other coupons can be used
with....".

Double Coupon Acceptance Policy

Only one manufacturer coupon can be redeemed per item.
Double coupon redemption applies only to “manufacturer” issued
coupons.
BI-LO store coupons or competitor coupons are not doubled.
Double coupons do not apply to alcohol and tobacco products.
Coupons must be presented at the time of check-out.
Coupons will only be doubled if a BONUSCARD is scanned within the
order.
Manufacturer coupons will be redeemed only before the expiration
date.
Void where prohibited by law.
Double coupon amount cannot exceed the price of the item.
Items must be purchased in sizes specified on coupon.
Free coupons are excluded.
Amounts cannot exceed the price of the item.

Store management has the right to decline any coupon if fraud or coupon
abuse is evident.

Something new to watch for...I was told yesterday at Bi-lo that they can no longer take any IP's that are for free products, that do not have an exp. date on them OR do not have the two bar codes (the ones on the bottom and the validation box with the numbers at the top right, such as the ones you print from Brick's). I was trying to use one I had printed off smartsource and they would not accept it because it didn't have that validation box.

I haven't heard of a Bi-lo in Greenville that doubles up to .99 Every store I've shopped at is only double up to .60 HTH

I went tonight and had many coupons 20 of the same one had to be put in manually I don't know why. anyway all of my coupons started with 5 none said do not double at the end of my reciept only 10 doubled out of 40 that should have. has this happened to anyone before?

Hi - I do know it is Bi-lo's policy to only double up to 10 like manufacturer's coupons per order. The remaining like coupons in the same order, will be taken off at face value. So when I have more than 10 like coupons, I just split it into more than one order making sure I only have 10 like coupons per order.

So all in all..Bi-lo does not have a corporate policy that all stores follow from what I'm reading. I go into my store here in Greenville,SC STORE #3619 on Pelham Rd and u get something different everyday. I've stopped shopping there because they are sooooo rude at that store...not just to me but to alot of my neighbors and friends as well. They are losing alot of customers with their inconsistencies. I used to shop their everyday !!

Thank you so much for this up-to-the-minute information. I have been helped quite often by the folks at my local BiLo (Pelham near I-85). Because I learned through this site that BiLo used competitors coupons, I began shopping there again. While I still go to other stores in my area to get their sales, I am pleased with the customer service that I have experienced at BiLo.

Knowing the policies ahead of time is a great help for couponers and for the store management. Thanks again!
