Hi All!

Sorry long post, but lots of good stuff =)

Just thought I'd let you all know I spent a few hours calling several of the baby numbers a few days ago. I've already gotten some items.
- Huggies I got a $3 coupon and 3 - $1 coupons.
- At Nestle I got a 12oz can of formula and a coupon & rebate which amounts to a free Nuk bottle, also $1 off Nuk Pacifier. Unfortunatley, no formula coupons :-(
- Gerber - 7-$.75 coupons for cereal, food, juice, sippie cup, gerber utensils/dishes
- Nature's Goodness - will send coupons and can call back every 4-5 mos for more
- Parent's Choice formula - you can request a can every month, but this company offers generic formula for more than just Walmart. You must request a specific store and they will not tell you who they offer it for. I requested Target. It takes awhile and they said when a month has passed, go ahead and call to request the 2nd can even if the first has not come yet.
- Earth's Best - they are low on coupons right now, but put me on a waiting list. Can go online to sign up for newsletter.
- Beech-Nut - they are offering a New Parent's pack which includes feeding information and a bunch of coupons, they said
- Tylenol - they asked if I wanted coupons for other items besides tylenol concentrated drops. They are also sending Mylicon & Infant Motrin coupons. They also have a new parent's pack they are sending.
- Triaminic - I started off asking about infants and since I did, they stated that the product is not recommended for anyone under 4yrs, so I didn't get any coupons.
- 1st Years - I went ahead & called even tho I don't have multiples. They are not offering anything but directed me to their website Learningcurve.com to join their "community" where I would receive special offers by email or snail mail. I could also enter their "sweepstakes" to win prizes.
- Similac - I called the general line to get signed up and that will take several days/wks to process. However I asked questions about their formulas and they sent me to their nutrition center. From there I got a $3 formula coupon. It pays to be curious!
- Natures Goodness - got 2 coupons for a free jar of baby food. Also rcvd letter which directed me to sign up for their new web newsletter to receive more offers
- Little Remedies - rcvd $1 coupon

So far I have received over $30 in free product or coupons. It has taken less than a week for most of these and I have more items on their way! I'll keep you all posted!

Some pointers:
- I specified that I was a new parent interested in trying their products and did they have any samples or coupons for their products. Many were happy to oblige and some mentioned "new parent" packs. I'll let you know what those are all about when I get them.
- For food, I mentioned that my infant was about to start solids and did they have any coupons or samples I could try.
- For formula I said that I was wanting to try some different brands to see if my infant would tolerate them better. I had much better luck calling formula numbers than going to their website. I tried Nestle several times online and got nowhere, but rcvd a formula sample by phone in less than a wk.
- For one company, they were not offering anything, but it happened that I had an issue with one of their products. I mentioned it and now they are sending me a replacement!
- Ask questions about the products - they may have to send you to a specialized department. That's how I got a special $3 Similac coupon.
- FYI - Some of the coupons have long exp dates!
- FYI - Some of the companies are only offering coupons by region - regions they are targeting campaigns to increase business in those regions. These are the ones that usually start out the call asking for your zip code first.

Wow! Did you find any of them were automated or repeats? I have just started calling and have reached Johnson and Johnson, Lansinoh & a Welcome Company. I'm expecting so I'm not sure what ones are the bst to start off on, do the coupons have long expiration dates?

The vast majority were live cust svc people, I might have received some automated, but I can't remember which ones. I tried to bypass the automation if I could since I have a hard to understand last name and address that can get messed up.

Most of the coupons expire between 9/09 & 12/09. Some have no expiration (Tylenol), some expire in 2010. The following have shorter expirations like Feb/Mar 2009: Nature's Goodness, Nuk, Celestial Seasonings (12/08) & Gerber. If you're still expecting, the food ones that expire soon might not be worth it. It just happened to work out for me since my dd is 4mos, she will be on foods soon enough....

You mentioned a "Welcome Company". What is that for? Do you have the #?

Oh, and I'm kind of wondering about Parent's Choice formula. I called the number and actually requested Target brand. I have not received any Target brand formula so far, but I did receive a "1 day" supply of Parent's Choice the other day (which really isn't a full day supply for my daughter since she's a little piggie and consumes 40oz a day!). I'm not sure if this sample was received due to my phone calls or if it is from a website offer that I applied for in weeks past. Not really sure. I'll keep you posted if I receive anything from Target....

The welcome company was the first phone number on the phone list, it was automated. I recieved the beechnut coupons, johnson and johnson coupons & the lasinoh gift pack so far.

i just called beech-nut, gerber, parents choice, johnsons, they were all very nice and are sending coupons/ samples right out. Johnsons is the only one that told me to go to the website and print them.

When my sister got pregnant, we took a tip from a new mom friend of hers. Go get a new free email account and then, Sign up for EVERYTHING! Not only that, pass the list to your parents, your in laws, your siblings, sign your dog up, everyone! We did this for my sister, was the best pregnancy tip she got! Plus, this gets you on their mailing list and they will send you checks/coupons, and tips/hints. Was great. Similac and Enfimil were really good about this.

Called about the "New Parents Pack" and they said to go to baby.com to sighn up. Called Kimberly Clark for Huggies rebate and they said there was no promothion going on but they are sending me Qs. Called Parents Choice and they will be sending a sample of formula in a couple of weeks, and also confirmed that you can call every 30 days to get a free sample or a coupon for $3 off a purchase.

I waited on hold for a long time, but finally got through. I asked if I could have a coupon for the new playtex cups (they are twist and snap) and a couple of days later I got a coupon in the mail for a FREE cup or cups (7.00 value~!!!!)
