I got mine ...few weeks ago. I collect baby stuff for my brother's little girl(he's been out of work for awhile). Mine has the valve...and says #5 plastic at the bottom - nothing about not putting warm liquids in it. I was very skeptical about it at first as well but it looks pretty nice. |

I finally remembered to go and sign up for another cup, well two, using my MIL's address and my parents' address. However, I was able to use my address again and I was quite happy to see the water bottle, too. My daughter doesn't always drink water out of her cups, because she likes mine, I guess because it's Mommy's. Eh. I'm going to still sign up using my MIL's address and phone my mom to make sure it's okay to use her address as well. (I want to do this for the Pull-Ups and Easy-Ups freebies I saw on the sites, too. My MIL doesn't mind because she knows I wouldn't sign up for anything that was unsecured and we still get mail at their house from when we lived there last summer and part of last autumn.) Thanks for the dishwasher safe warning. We put the sippy cup in and have had no problems. However, she has six cups and we still have to hand wash them frequently, if we forget to rinse them after having soy milk. (She only drinks soy milk, Mommy [breast, she named it Mommy] milk, and water.) I digress. |

I have one of the green lid ones that is waiting for DS to start drinking from a sippy and the cup (hand washed the lid) held up fine on the top rack when I washed it. I ordered the water bottle tonight, but had it sent to my mom's address. I will be sure to see if it says anything about the dishwasher before I throw it in. Thanks for the head's up. |
