I am looking to purchase a new carseat soon and I am wondering what I can combine to get the lowest total. I have a 15% off 1 item, and a $10 gift certificate off my purchase, and a $5/25 purchase (but the fine print says cannot be combined w/ any other BRU offers) does this mean they can't be combined together?? The carseat is $279.00
I have some GC's to use as well...but these would be taken off the end total.

I have not used that many coupons in one transaction; but I have used BRU coupon, manu. coupon, and % off coupon in one transaction with no issues. Look at this post.

It won't hurt to check with CS first. It might just mean if the product was on sale in the store.

I am new to afullcup, but Babies R Us is one store I have had lots of coupon experience with. With purchases you can use one of each "kind" of coupon. Coupon types are as follows: Total purchase, specific item, any item coupons, and manufacturer coupons. Coupons are taken off in the order scanned so hand them in the order that benifits you the most ie %off coupons first.
Example $279 car seat.
279.00
x.85 -15% off any 1 item
$237.15
-$20 -$20 off Car Seat $99.99 and above(look on Ebay if you don't have)
$217.15
-$10 -$10 off $100 purchase
$207.15 Final Price!!

Even better if you have this item on your registry and get a registry completion certificate for 10% off total purchase. If you don't have a registry, sign up for one online or instore. You must have the item on your registry before your due date or end date that you chose. You will get good coupons and might get a free $10 gift card for signing up. It depends on the promotion they are running. IF you have this 10% off coupon use it second and the final price becomes $193.44!!
Another way to get great coupons that you won't find anywhere else is to have the BabiesRUs card. People sell these coupons on Ebay, but not all of them are usable without the creditcard. Hope this helps!

I think this is coupon stacking.....BRU Qs state "Not valid with any other "R"US offer for the same item." So using the 15% off and the $20 off carseat on the same carseat goes against the rules on the Q.

Dont forget to buy a giftcard at your local grocery store that has gas ponts for cents off a gallon. We always stop by Kroger and pick one up. OR CVS to get your ECB quarterly total up there for $$ back at the end of the quarter. HTH

I used to work at BRU. My store would allow use of all these coupons. The 15% is for any item and the $20 is specifically for carseats. Our Mgr. said her interpretation was that one couldn't use a $10 off any carseat and a $20 off any carseat, but a carseat and any item were fine together. Just try it, all they can say is no.

I've done this many times, and BRU always allows it. Just as the one person said you cant combine a $10 and $20 off car seat coupons, but a 15% off one item and a $20 off car seat is fine. I bought my car seat from BRU using a 15% off coupon, $20 off car seat coupon, and a 10% off registry completion coupon.

Weird. I called BRU corporate customer service a few weeks ago and was told that they don't allow both a BRU coupon and manu coupon on the same item.

I think when you are buying something that expensive, even if they called the manager over, he'd let you go through with it rather than loose the sale.

Ive never even had them question the use of this many coupons on one item. I found this out by looking at my receipt once. I had one coupon on each item because I assumed you couldn't stack them, but their computer system automatically took them off a single item that was far more expensive than the rest. It defalted to what ever was the highest discount. I've never asked CS about it, I just started using more coupons once I observed this on the receipts.

At the South Hills store in Pittsburgh, PA they won't allow you to stack coupons. No Manu w/ BRU or BRU$ w/ BRU %off. This was after i had cashier there told me I could. when I went to buy a $200 carseat, they wouldn't combine the coupons until I had them call a manager over and explained that one of his own personnel explained to me how I could use the Qs together. He let it happen "just this once" and took my name so i "won't try to do it again".

I've vowed the only time I'm going back to BRU is when I'm shopping on someone's registry and i can't find the item anywhere else.

I don't know if it is stacking but I have had a manager called over for using 5 coupons on one carseat and she told the cashier as long as it takes it I could use it. If you are wondering what are the five coupons it was the 20%, 15%, $10 off $150, $10 off $75 and $10 off $50. I don't think it is staking is the manager approves it.

At my toysrus (we don't have a BRU very close) we can combine one coupon of each, so we can use a 15%, 20%, 10%, spend 25 get 5, birthday club $3 off cards and any other offer they have as long as they are different. I think it's a YMMV thing.

by the way I have a spend 150 get 10 off if you want to trade. I do not believe I will be spending that much.

I don't think that you will be able to. When I go to our BRU in town, they have stopped us from even using internet coupons. We did just buy a new car seat at USA Baby in Milwaukee. We bought a Britex and it was about $100 cheaper than BRU. I would check around. Good luck with your search!

Thank you everyone for this forum! I had no idea you could coupon stack at BRU. I had to get a $250 double stroller. I used a 20% off one item coupon, a $10 off any stroller coupon and a $15 off a $125 or more purchase coupon. The cashier didn't bat an eye and rang it all through! I saved $75!!!
At another checkout I noticed, by accident, they'll take more that one % off coupon per item. I kind of wish I tried sneeking another coupon into my stroller purchase after seeing that.
