| Anyone know the details behind Toys r us lay away?
I've recieved several e-mails from toys r us and babies r us saying that they're offering lay away on big items (baby furniture, power wheels, play houses, swing sets, bikes, etc.) but it doesn't have any fine print listed other than "deposit and service fee required". Anyone know the details behind this? Thanks! |

I put a dollhouse on lawaway at TRU you have to put 20% down and you have 90 days to pay it off. The thing I found anoying was that they order it and have it shipped to the store after it is payed off even if it is in stock and on the shelf and since it is new no one really knows how to do the transaction.

| associates were clueless....
I went in last weekend to put a few things on layaway and the associates were absolutely clueless. They told me it was an online only program, so I put it all back and logged on when I got home only to see that they were wrong. I ended up just ordering through TRU and using Bill Me Later. They have no payments for 90 days on any order over $100.
