Well, I am addicted to thrift stores!! The best finds I am selling on Ebay. I have been finding some really good stuff lately. Well on Tuesday I found a Burberry jacket. I am excited cause I payed $4 and I know it will sell for MORE. But that is not ALL!! Today I was preparing the jacket for sale (checking out for any flaws etc). GUESS what did I find in the pocket?!?
... small ziplock baggie full of weed!!!! Well I think that what it was. Do u think somebody would cary around some spices in a ziplock?!? I asked my DH but he was not sure. Well I flushed it. There is no room for that "stuff" in our house. But I am still shocked. Imagine I would not check on that and sell it like that on EBAY!!!!!!!!!

My only experience with weed was finding some in a book my sister let me borrow that she was "holding for a friend." Yeah...right...

well............when i was in college- oh waht happens in college stays in college! Actually I have not touched it in over 13 years- I truly hated the way it made me feel. But glad you flushed it! Great finds by the way- and I mean the coat-!

We found weed in the bottom of our freezer when we moved into our new house.

they do, most of the time. It happened to me before...no, no weed in the pocket but I found cash. Bought 2 pair of jeans ($5 each), found $10 in the pocket of one of them ans sold them for $60 and $32. Wooohoooo! that was a great week.

Maybe it was catnip-Me and mom share catnip for our cats-I know that doesn't sound right-but you get the point. If she buys a big bag she gives me some for my kitties and she puts it in a zip bag.

HaHa!! Is that supposed to keep it fresh longer?? Can't have skunky weed now! I've never touched the stuff myself. My BF stil doesn't believe me when I tell him that...but it's the truth. It's ok, because when he was in school he did enough for the both of us.

Anyway, my favorite thrift store find was a little wind breaker. I paid $1 for it and found $5 in the pocket (along with some lip gloss and mascara but I threw those out)!! Wooohooo!

Way to go on finding a Burberry jacket for $4, unreal! And the other stuff you found in the pocket, unreal as well! I'm glad you found it before you sold the jacket on ebay and shipped it out, could of spelled BIG trouble for you had it fallen into the hands of authorities!

It would have been really funny if a girl that worked at the thrift store picked the jacket up thinking it was a donation tagged it for $4 and it turned out it was another girl's that worked there! I wonder if she would have been mad that her jacket or her weed was gone?! LOL

Thats too funny! Awesome steal! I found a St.Johns Bay new with tags womens blazer for 1.99.!! The tag on the jacket said 70! I just gave it to my mom

Years ago my hubby bought a home respirator at the thrift store...he is a respiratory therapist....the guy told him "Man that radio works just fine"......we paid like 12 bucks for it sold it for 100...that was over 20 years ago
