My local Target had a few good deals. Nothing that really beat out Wal-Mart, except the selection of back-packs was a little better. The Crayola washable 8 pack markers are 2 for $3, which is great considering Wal-Mart has them 2 for $4! Their 24 count pack of wood barrel #2 pencils are 50 cents (Wal-Mart's were $1). Oh, and they had the twin pocket folders with 3 prongs in a pack. For $1.00 you get 10 of them (2 purple, 2 green, 2 red, 2 blue, 2 yellow) all pre-wrapped and ready to go. I'm not sure if that's a good deal price wise, but every year my kiddos need them in some combination of those colors, and I am just about on the floor digging through the boxes at Wal-Mart! So it was a good deal for me to not have to hunt for all of them!

By the way, just looked at the Wal-Mart sales ad again, and the folders are 15 cents each there, so I guess I did get a deal in more ways than one!! Yay! )

DS and DD just got backpacks on sale at Target yesterday for $12 ea. They also got matching lunch bags for $8 ea. (not on sale but oh well). Kinda cute...DD's is pink camo and DS's is black camo. The price of school lunches went up .25 this coming school year so they'll be packing alotta lunches!
