My local store has boneless chicken breasts for 1.99$ a pound, says value family pack. It doesn't say anything about them being skinless, just boneless. Wondering if this is a good deal to stock up on or should I pass?

I don't *need* chicken right now, but if it was a good deal in Texas I would like to stock up on it.

I will say, for me (in NC), 1.99/lb is a great deal for chicken. And I think that most likely if it is boneless, that it will be skinless as well.

Just depends on your area. Very occasionally, we will get them for $1.88 a pound(boneless,skinless) but $1.99 is when I go buy a family pack or two.

The cheapest I can get it for is $1.99--whenever it is on sale I stock up. I never pay full price for boneless chicken.

I'd say stock up at this price. With the prices of everything rising weekly, I'm not sure when you may see that price again.

This is a good price. I typically see this about once every month or two. I wouldn't stock pile a whole lot of it unless you have the extra money and freezer room.

In my experience ...YES...but then again it all depends how often the sales come around vs the non sale price...I get boneless chicken for 2.99 lb with no sale (when I have to) and stock up when it's 1.99 & .99 cents a lb.

We get as low at $1.79, but that is rare...$1.99 is a great price!

I just got Chicken Leg Quarters for .49/lb. Now that was a GREAT deal for my area.. I don't buy breasts too often.
